Muslim Rapes Two 13-Year-Old Girls at a Church...

A 22-year-old man who raped two 13-year-old girls in his car after supplying them with alcohol has been jailed for 14 years.

Ali offered the two girls a lift before giving them vodka and raping them.
Munshur Ali, from Hyde in Greater Manchester, asked his victims for directions and began chatting with them before offering the young girls a lift.

Ali drove the girls to an off licence in Stockport and bought them a bottle of vodka to drink.
He then took them to a church and raped the pair twice in the back of his car.

While passing sentence, Judge Peter Larkin said: "You subjected these two vulnerable, naive 13-year-olds to a terrifying ordeal."

The judge described the 22-year-old as "devious and manipulative".

He said: "Not only have you made serious and deeply unpleasant allegations against the two girls, you also concocted a defence to fit the prosecution evidence against you."

I think he was a sly, evil person... and he went out on this evening knowing that his intention was to get vulnerable girls into his car and rape them.Detective Constable Lindsey Morgan
The girls' mothers, who cannot be named for legal reasons, told Sky News their children were just too trusting.

"We are absolutely devastated," one mother said.

"To any other young girls, I just want to say if you are going out - stay with a group... And never get into anyone's car."

The second mother said: "It's easy to say don't drink, but it's part of growing up. And it's so easy to get hold of alcohol now - I think the Government needs to crack down on that.

"They are not the same children now. He didn't show any remorse at court, joking with his friends. It's disgusting."

Speaking outside court, Detective Constable Lindsey Morgan said: "Both the girls have basically lost their innocent childhood, and they are traumatised by what's happened to them."

When asked about Munshur Ali she commented: "I think he was a sly, evil person... and he went out on this evening knowing that his intention was to get vulnerable girls into his car and rape them."

THE ISLAMIC ELEPHANT IN THE ROOM..

Interesting interview here on the issue of the booming British population.

Is it me or does Mr Humphyrs entirely miss the central issue - namely that the predominant reason for a booming UK population is due to "foreign born" mothers (Mostly Muslims) having way above replacement level birth rates whist the indigenous population birth-rate falls below replacement level.
Photobucket
I found this a curious interview in the fine BBC tradition of ignoring the Islamic elephant in the room. Across the European Nations, the birth-rates of the indigenous people is below population replacement level, with Spain being perhaps the lowest in the world. (Perhaps the real tragedy of Andalusia awaits?)This devastating demographic is sidelined in BBC coverage of this topic and instead Humphyrs witters on about us having 2.5 children as if we were back in the 1960's.

I would like to see the BBC tackle the more substantive aspects to this topic but suggest they would run a mile from doing so lest it offend certain multiculti sensitivities.

'Muslims Rule Bradford,' Stabbing Victim Told...

Rehman, 18, shouted racial abuse as 51-year-old Ronald O'Connor walked to a shop for a loaf of bread, near the gates of Lister Park, Manningham, last December.

Leeds Crown Court heard that Rehman shouted: "Manningham belongs to Muslims. We dont want whites. We rule Bradford. We are going to get you out."

His victim tried to get in the shop, but Rehman ran towards him and stabbed him twice in the upper arm with a four to five-inch bladed knife.

Rehman, of Manningham, tried to slash Mr O'Connor's face and the victim also had the palms of his hands slashed as he tried to defend himself.

Richard Gioserano, prosecuting, said: "Rehman was swinging at him over and over again with the knife. Mr O'Connor was in great pain and in fear, literally, of his life."

He ran into the shop, police were called and Rehman was arrested outside.

Mr O'Connor had to have surgery at Bradford Royal Infirmary for a deep laceration to his palm while he also suffered lacerations to his fingers and two incisions to his upper arm with apparent nerve damage.

Rehman and two friends, Amar Farooq and Tanveer Hussain, committed a series of robberies only hours after Rehman appeared at court for a preliminary hearing in March.

The trio were drinking heavily at the time of the attacks and the robberies targeted children on their way home from school.

During the callous street muggings some of the youngsters were threatened with being stabbed, though no knife was seen.

A 15-year-old schoolboy who was making his way home at 3pm on 4 March, was grabbed from behind, punched in the face and had his iPod and mobile phone stolen.

A group of three more pupils, two boys and a girl aged 14 and 15, who saw the attack were the next victims.

Hussain asked to borrow a mobile phone and when all three said they didn't have one, Farooq said: "You have 10 seconds to give me your valuable stuff or I will stab you all."

The girl ran off and Farooq grabbed one boy shoving him against a wall while the other two stole £1.10 from the other boy, said Mr Gioserano.

Their next victim was an 11-year-old boy.

Jonathan Devlin, defending, said there were no explanations or excuses for the offences other than drink.

All three pleaded guilty to three robberies and Rehman pleaded guilty to wounding with intent in connection with the Manningham incident.

Rehman was sent to youth custody for five years while Hussain, 23, of Manningham, and Farooq, 25, of Garlington, were jailed for 30 months.

The judge, Recorder David Bradshaw, told Rehman he had committed an unprovoked attack on an innocent man causing horrendous injuries.

He said: "I am satisfied it was accompanied by racial abuse and seemed to have a racial motive."

19-Year-Old Muslim Charged in Stabbing Spree...

A teenager was due to appear before magistrates today, charged with seven counts of attempted murder following several stabbings in Keighley town centre.

Raheem Nawaz, 19, of Keighley, was charged on Saturday night in connection with two incidents, one in Victoria Road at about 10.30pm last Thursday, and the other outside The Livery Rooms pub in North Street about two hours later.

A 24-year-old man was stabbed in the first incident and seven people were injured in the second.

Two people were last night still receiving treatment at Airedale Hospital including a 44-year-old woman, who suffered the most serious injuries and was described as being in a serious but stable condition.

The 24-year-old man was also described as being in a stable condition. A 26-year-old woman, who had also been detained for treatment at Airedale Hospital, was discharged on Saturday.
The knifeman is believed to have walked into Keighley town centre after the first incident before attacking a crowd outside the Wetherspoons-owned Livery Rooms pub at about 12.30am on Friday.

Bradford Councillor Zafar Ali said: “My heart goes out to the innocent victims and their families and I hope they have a speedy recovery.”

Nawaz was due to appear before magistrates in Bingley at 10am today.

The incidents are being investigated by officers in the Homicide and Major Enquiry Unit of West Yorkshire Police led by Detective Superintendent Steve Payne.

Muslims Bite Off Father's Ear in 'Racist' Attack...

A DAD-of-four who had his ear bitten off in a racist attack in Woking town centre has said he will be ‘disfigured for life’.

The 40-year-old victim was set upon by a group of about 10 men – some of whom are believed to be Asian – when he tried to step in to stop an argument in the early hours of Sunday, August 2.

He had been on a night out with friends and was going to catch a taxi when he saw the row. But when he intervened, he was dragged into the middle of the road, and had part of his ear bitten off by one of the men.

Police are now looking for the men involved in the attack at about 3.20am in Broadway, Woking. They have released pictures of people they want to talk to The victim said: “I am disfigured for life. They can’t re-attach part of an ear because of the human saliva on it. A human bite is worse than a dog bite and is dirtier than a toilet seat with all the bacteria.

“I was in hospital for four days. It is starting to heal nicely, but it will never be the same again.”
Three men have been arrested and bailed – a 25-year-old from Woking, a 25-year-old from Harrow and a 22-year-old from Woking. They are due to return to Woking police station on October 4.

Woking Neighbourhood Inspector Lynette Shanks said of the violence: “This was a senseless, unprovoked attack on a man who was in the wrong place at the wrong time. Surrey Police will not tolerate such racist violence on the streets.”

A week later, early on Sunday, August 9, another man suffered ear injuries in a fight outside a sandwich shop in Chertsey Road. Police say the incidents are not linked, but anyone with information on either incident should contact them on 0845 125 2222.

Man in burqa with gun and axe steals $243,000 in designer watches

Police are searching for a burqa-clad man who helped steal designer watches worth £150,000 in an armed robbery yesterday.

The man and two accomplices, armed with a handgun and an axe, burst into Michael Jones Jewellers on the High Street in Banbury, Oxfordshire, at about 2.20pm.

They threatened four members of staff, a man and three women, with their weapons before making off with Rolex, Cartier and Breitling watches....

The incident is the latest in a spate of 'burqa robberies' where thieves conceal their identity with the full-body garment typically worn by Muslim women....

Brandishing a knife, he threatens the two women staff before making off with an undisclosed amount of cash.
The robbery in Luton came six weeks after a similar incident in nearby Dunstable and, this week, a £150,000 raid on a jeweller's in Banbury, Oxfordshire.
Police are investigating the possibility the crimes are linked.

The knife-wielding robber targets Thomson travel agency in London during a spate of violent crimes committed by men dressed in burkhas

The first incident happened on July 7 - the fourth anniversary of the 2005 terrorist bombings in London.

A man in a burkha, which left only his eyes visible, walked into First Choice Travel in Dunstable. After threatening two women staff he took the cash and escaped through the back door at 10.15am.

On August 16, a burkha-clad man made off with a 'large amount of cash' from the Thomson travel shop in Luton.

Then, on Tuesday, a man wearing a burkha and two accomplices, who wore dark clothes and had their faces covered, stole £150,000-worth of Rolex, Cartier and Breitling watches from jeweller Michael Jones in Banbury.

They threatened four members of staff with a knife and an axe at 2.30pm before escaping in a black Audi estate driven by a fourth man. The car was found abandoned. The robbers are believed to be Asian.

Bedfordshire Police said they were 'keeping an open mind' about whether the crimes were linked. They want to trace two women who went into the Thomson shop in Luton during the robbery but left because staff had been told to say it was closed.

Thames Valley Police, which covers Banbury, refused to deny the incidents involved the same man.

Detective Inspector Steve Duffy said: 'Thankfully nobody was injured during the robbery but obviously staff have been left very shaken by what happened.'

There have been growing concerns over the use of burkhas and other Muslim clothing to conceal criminals' identities.

Somali Mustaf Jama, one of the armed gang that shot dead PC Sharon Beshenivsky in Bradford, reportedly escaped from Britain after hiding his face behind a traditional Muslim woman's niqab and using his sister's passport.

And a man and woman made off with £200,000 of jewellery from a London store in 2002 after concealing their identities with burkhas.

Street Jihad - 10 Muslims Batter Brit & wife - Leave shoeprint on his face

THIS is the battered face of Rob Hughes, who was left with the imprint of a trainer on his forehead and nose following a vicious gang attack.
Mr Hughes and his wife were set upon by 10 thugs as they waited for a taxi in Castlemere Street, Deeplish, Rochdale at about midnight last Saturday.

Trouble flared after the couple, who were standing on opposite sides of the street, began arguing about booking a taxi.

As they were doing so a car pulled over and the driver warned them to stop shouting in his street.

The man then returned with the three passengers followed by another car full of men, who jumped out and ran at Rob, 38, knocking him to the floor and kicking and punching his face.

More men then came running down the street to join in the attack as Mr Hughes crawled across the road to try and escape.

His terrified wife, 37, shouted at them to stop, but one of the men turned on her punching her in the face and knocking one of her teeth through her lip.

Then one of the thugs shouted to the gang to leave saying 'if we don't stop we're going to kill him'
The violent attack was over in minutes, but Mr Hughes has been left with blurred vision in his right eye and an abrasion across his eyeball.

He had two black eyes and a swollen nose with a footprint running from his forehead across the bridge of his nose and two chipped teeth.

He had also sustained cuts and bruises to his knees and elbows as he crawled across the floor to try and escape his attackers.

Mr Hughes, of Milnrow, said: "I think they were just looking for an argument.

"A group of them were congregated somewhere and the driver pulled up to get them, within three seconds they've all piled on to me - obviously there was intent. I knew I was going to get a hiding.

"The first thing that crossed my mind is that I hope none of these have got a knife.

"I fell on to my knees and hands and crawled along, I just thought if I stop down here I'm not going to get up again.

"It seemed to go on for ages, my jacket was ripped to smithereens, but they didn't take anything - they didn't want to rob me.

"I know this does happen a lot, but nothing like this has happened to us before, I think we were just in the wrong place at the wrong time.

"In hindsight I'm more mad that they hit a women, I'm really glad I didn't see my wife get punched.

"I consider myself lucky to get out of it like I have."

A Greater Manchester Police spokesman said: "Shortly before midnight on Saturday 15 August 2009, a 38-year-old man and 37-year-old woman were assaulted by a group of about 10 men on Castlemere Street, Deeplish.

"The offenders are all described as Asian. The man and woman suffered facial injuries.

"Inquiries are continuing."
Another sickening instance of typical Modus Operandi for muslim thugs who frequently travel in packs in order to use their numbers to boost their gutless 'courage' to prey upon primarily lone victims or - as in this case - couples.

For other instances (far from complete) go to:

An overdraft? That'll be £200 at Lloyds TSB (but only £15 if you're a Muslim)

Many Lloyds TSB customers are being hit with charges of up to £200 a month if they go into the red - while Muslims who use the bank are only being charged £15.

The part-nationalised bank has been accused of religious discrimination over the disparity between overdraft charges on its standard current account and its Islamic account.

The Islamic account was set up by the high street bank to attract Muslim customers by allowing them to keep faithful to their religion.

Sharia law does not permit the payment of interest so the 'typical' Islamic account at Lloyds TSB has been set up without an overdraft facility.

Other rules: No interest is charged on Islamic accounts, while customers with a normal account are hit with charges of up to £200

If a Muslim customer who has insufficient funds in the account tries to make a payment, it is blocked and a 'return item fee' is charged.

However, on some Islamic accounts such a payment is authorised and an 'unplanned overdraft fee' of £15 is then levied.

The bank says this is a management fee, not a payment of interest, so does not contradict Sharia law.

Meanwhile, customers with standard current accounts who go into the red by at least £100 without authorisation are hit with an 'unplanned overdraft fee' of £20 a day for a maximum of ten days. This could mean a customer has to pay £200 in one month.

The Islamic account is available to all customers at Lloyds TSB. In theory, anyone who does not need a permanent overdraft facility could switch to this account to avoid being hit by interest charges for going into the red.

The disparity between the two accounts emerged after the bank sent its customers a booklet this month explaining its charges.

Graham Milne, a customer and chartered accountant from Norham, Northumberland, said difference in fees was tantamount to 'religious discrimination'.

He added: 'This means that all the non-Islamic account holders are subsidising those with such an account. It strikes me as something which is bordering on illegal.

'One cannot help feeling the organisation is bending over backwards to help Muslims to the detriment of everybody else.

'The man in the street would say this is a form of theft. Whether you call it a management fee or an interest fee, it makes no odds because they mean the same thing.'

In the past few years, millions of customers at all the major high street banks have demanded the return of money which has been taken from their account in various forms of bank charges.
Many got their money, or the majority of it, back. A test case - designed to rule if such charges are illegal - is going through the House of Lords.

A Lloyds TSB spokesman said: 'The Islamic current account is for customers who cannot receive credit or debit interest due to their religious beliefs.

'All of our Islamic accounts comply with Islamic law and are available to anyone regardless of background or faith.

'These accounts are structured differently to our traditional accounts and are designed to help prevent a customer slipping into the red. A comparison with the overdraft charging structure on other accounts is meaningless.'

Earlier this month, it emerged that losses at Lloyds had escalated to £13.4billion - largely due to the reckless lending of Halifax Bank of Scotland, which it bought for £9.6billion in January.

The disastrous merger led to a £17billion taxpayer bail-out. The newly-formed Lloyds Banking Group is 43 per cent owned by the taxpayer.

Anti-terror cash spent on football coaching and fashion shows

More than £4million from Britain’s counter-terrorism budget is being spent on projects including football coaching and fashion shows for young people 'at risk of becoming terrorists'.

The money, from funds allocated to de-radicalise young Muslims, includes £129,000 to a theatre company, £79,000 for sports coaching, £20,000 for fashion courses and £20,000 on art workshops.

Last night the handouts were criticised by the Conservatives, who demanded proof that taking potential terrorists on trips to the theatre was a good use of taxpayers’ money.
The disclosure comes just weeks after the country’s most senior anti-terror officer, Scotland Yard’s Assistant Commissioner John Yates, warned he would be forced to cut staff because of a shortage of money.

Shadow Home Secretary Chris Grayling said an analysis of the grants handed out by the Preventing Violent Extremism Community Leadership Fund – which will spend £4.1 million over the next two years – suggested that at least £2 million was being wasted on ‘tenuous’ projects.

Most of the recipients are in traditionally Labour-supporting areas such as Birmingham, West Yorkshire and East London. They include:

The Khayaal Theatre Company, which got £129,541 to put on two plays which ‘address the issues of radicalisation and extremism as they manifest themselves in families and communities’.

Bold Creative, which will receive £179,000 over three years in order to ‘roll out Tagmap TV... an internet-based resource tool that encourages debate and discussion among young people’.

Local Leagues Limited, which received £79,440 for a ‘programme of sports coaching and local competitions as preventative and diversionary activities for Muslim young people’.

Dervish Arts, which got £20,000 ‘to deliver their arts-based workshops with young people and Muslim women’.

Three Faiths Forum, which received £20,000 ‘to allow young Muslim women to use exploration of clothing and fashion to construct their own sense of Britishness’.

Mr Grayling said: ‘Branding these projects as “preventing extremism” is counter-productive. It stereotypes British Muslims as potential terrorists.

Insurance Fraud Ringleaders Stage 92 Crashes...

A 'PHANTOM' driver made a fraudulent insurance claim over a crash when he was not even at the wheel, a jury has heard.Rashid Shaikh, 29, claimed to have been driving a black Audi A6 when it was hit by a Volvo at a roundabout on the A34 near Cheadle, Manchester Crown Court was told.

But the jury at his trial heard the car was really being driven by another man called Mohammed Patel, who earned tens of thousands of pounds in a complex 'crash for cash' scam.William Baker, prosecuting, said Patel, 24, earned £46,000 by staging 92 crashes on the north west's roads over three years.

Shaikh, of Victoria Road, Dewsbury, denies being involved in a conspiracy to commit fraud.Mr Baker said: "Between 2005 and 2008, Mohammed Patel staged over 90 road traffic accidents on roundabouts in the north west."He braked hard and stopped suddenly so that the car behind him could not avoid a collision. Some of them just touched it so the damage was very slight and nobody was injured. They all walked away.

Injuries "That was done so that other people like Rashid Shaikh could then make false insurance claims for injuries."The court was told that Shaikh and two other men submitted fraudulent insurance claims following the Audi crash at 3pm on October 25, 2005.Patel gave Shaikh's details to the Volvo driver when it ran into the back of the Audi, it was alleged. The Audi's owner - Iqbal Khan, 49, of Argo Street, Bolton - claimed more than £5,000 for the damage, it was said.

His son Ershad Khan, 22, also from Argo Street, Bolton, claimed to have been a passenger. He and Shaikh claimed for whiplash. It is claimed Shaikh conspired with Iqbal and Ershad Khan and Mohammed Patel to defraud the insurance firm. The Volvo driver's insurance firm set aside more than £20,000 to cover the three claims. But the company began an investigation after it became concerned all three, which were made through a Bolton-based claims' management firm, might be fake.Iqbal Khan hired a replacement VW Golf at the same time as the crash, the court was told.

Damage An engineer who went to look at the Audi believed it had been backed into a post so that 'thousands of pounds' of damage could be claimed, even though it was seen being driven away hardly damaged after the crash.Mr Baker said: "The prosecution case is that Rashid Shaikh agreed with Ershad and Iqbal Khan to make a fraudulent insurance claim for injuries suffered in an accident that he had never been involved in.

His defence is somebody else used his details without his knowledge."Mr Baker said: "The offences came to light after staff working in an office noticed there were a lot of collisions outside. "They began to pay attention to the collisions and saw it was the same man driving these cars, Mohammed Patel."Shaikh denies one count of conspiracy to defraud between January 2005 and June last year.Patel, 24, of Nottingham Drive, Bolton, earlier pleaded guilty to conspiracy to commit fraud as well as a string of motoring offences.

Mother Stabbed to Death in Front of Child...

A terrified seven-year-old girl dialled 999 and told the operator: 'A man is trying to kill my mummy', a court has heard.

Aisha Bibi saw her mother Rabina, 34, stabbed 14 times in the neck, chest and back by Iranian Zakarya Rezaie, the jury was told.

Warwick Crown Court heard a recording of the 999 call in which Aisha said: 'He's my mummy's friend and he is trying to kill her with a knife.'

The operator asked what her mother's injuries were and Aisha replied: 'She's bleeding everywhere'.

Rezaie, 29, from Cardiff, denies murder, claiming he was provoked into killing Miss Bibi after she told him their relationship was over.

The court heard that minutes after the killing he handed himself into police and claimed he had been overcome by 'some sort of severe madness' after she attacked him with a penknife.

Miss Bibi, whose arranged marriage broke down six years ago, met Rezaie when he worked in a shop in Coventry and they had a brief relationship. But when she began seeing another man he became jealous and started pestering her. On September 3 last year he forced his way into her home in Foleshill, Coventry.

Prosecutor Rachel Brand, QC, said: 'This is a case of a man who couldn't accept the word "no". He couldn't accept it because he was clearly infatuated.'

The court heard that when Rezaie began banging on Miss Bibi's front door she called police - but rang back five minutes later to say he had left again.

In fact, Miss Brand told the court, Rezaie was already inside and had forced her to tell police he had gone.

The third call to police, from Aisha, came 26 minutes later.

Miss Brand said: 'The police found the little girl in the front room, crying. In the middle room they found Rabina Bibi on the floor.'

Yesterday, Rabina's neighbour recalled the moment she heard Aisha screaming for help.

Leigh Nesbeth, 34, told the court she was on Facebook when she heard screaming coming from Ms Bibi's house.

She said: 'I heard Aisha screaming 'mum don't, mum don't' and then more screaming. It was unusual for me to hear Aisha scream like that.

'I thought Sharon (Rabina's nickname) was telling Aisha off.'

The court also heard evidence from Ms Bibi's brother, Leaka Khan, 37, who got a desperate phone call just minutes before she was killed.

He told the court: 'My mobile phone went and I saw her name come up. I said 'hello' but there was just a shuffling noise like something was being moved around and then I heard Rabina say 'get off me, get off me'.

'I thought she had rang me by mistake so I hung up and rang back to have a go at her for wasting the credit on her phone but it went straight to answerphone.'

At one stage of yesterday's hearing Rezaie collapsed in the court and needed medical assistance.
Ms Bibi was so worried about her safety she bought a security camera which she installed at her home.
On the night of the killing, Rezaie - who was granted temporary permission to stay in the country last year - travelled to Coventry from Cardiff by train and knocked on Ms Bibi's door but she refused to let him in

When he began banging on her front door at 7.36pm she called the police for help but five minutes later she rang back saying he had left.

Miss Brand told the court that in fact Rezaie had forced his way into Ms Bibi's home and had ordered her to tell the police he had gone away.

But 26 minutes later, at 8.07pm, the police received a third call from the house.

Miss Brand said: 'The caller was Rabina's seven-year-old daughter.

'She asked for the police to come because she said a man named Jackie was trying to kill her mummy with a knife.

'It was an emotional call, made by a small child.

'She then told the police operator the man was leaving, and indeed he can be seen leaving [on the security camera footage] while the child was still on the phone.

'The police were there as soon as they could. In the house they found the little girl in the front room crying. In the middle room they found Rabina Bibi on the floor.'

Ms Bibi suffered stab wounds to her neck which penetrated the carotid artery and jugular vein, as well as knife wounds which had penetrated her lungs and liver.

The Independent Police Complaints Commission has launched an investigation into the case because Ms Bibi made a 999 call just minutes before the killing.

The trial continues.

World's first Muslim superheroes, the 99, are headed for British television screens

Named the 99, as each possesses one of Allah's 99 attributes, the characters include a burka-clad woman named Batina the Hidden and a Saudi Arabian Hulk-type man named Jabbar the Powerful.

They have proved a hit from Morocco to Indonesia and were recently named as one of the top 20 trends sweeping the world by Forbes magazine.

Now they are being brought to British television by Endemol, the production company behind Big Brother, with a mission to instill Islamic values in children across all faiths.

Until now, the superhero market has been dominated by the likes of Batman, Spiderman and Superman who have typically limited their crime-fighting abilities to America and the Western world.
They were created by Dr Naif al-Mutawa, a clinical psychologist from Kuwait, who felt Muslim children needed a new set of heroes to look up to, to counter jihadist role models.

“It hit me that the stories I was hearing were from men who grew up believing that their leader, Saddam, was a hero, a role model — only to one day be tortured by him,” he told The Times. “I decided the Arab world needed better role models.”

However, despite being called the 99, there will never be a full cast of 99 superheroes since it is forbidden to depict all Allah's attributes

Dr al-Mutawa hopes the cartoons will have a universal appeal.

He said: “It is based on attributes such as generosity and mercy. These are not things that Islam has a monopoly over.”

Terror raid students to leave UK

Two Pakistani students arrested over an alleged terror plot are to fly home after deciding to leave the UK voluntarily, their solicitor has said.

Abdul Khan, 26, and Shoaib Khan, 27, were among 12 people held by police after raids in north-west England in April, but the pair were never charged.

The Home Office tried to deport them, saying they remained a security threat.

The men decided to leave after being denied bail while appealing against deportation, their solicitor said.

The appeal was due to be heard by the Special Immigration Appeals Commission (Siac) in March next year.

The men's solicitor, Amjad Malik, said his clients would leave on an evening flight to Islamabad on Friday night.

'Ramadan approaching'

The pair, who are Category A prisoners at HMP Manchester, were "devastated" by the decision to deny them bail, he said, and could no longer face further incarceration.

"They realised that they are going to remain in custody for another 10 months when they haven't committed any crime - that amounts to a sentence of three years," Mr Malik said.

"Also, Ramadan is coming nearer and they are not happy with the facilities in place in prison, so they wish to spend their Eid [Muslim festival for the end of the fasting month, due on 20 September] with their families in Pakistan."

He added that the men would be allowed to continue their UK studies from Pakistan.

Abdul Wahab Khan, from Tank, in the North West Frontier, was studying for a masters degree in computer studies at John Moores University in Liverpool.

Shoaib Khan, from Narowal in the Punjab, was taking an accountancy course at Kaplan Financial, which has training centres across the UK.

Mr Malik said the UK Border Agency, part of the Home Office, had withdrawn its "intention to deport" orders to allow his two clients to return home.

'Visa irregularities'

Twelve students were arrested in the terror raids in Manchester and Liverpool as part of Operation Pathway, with three subsequently released.

The Home Office is attempting to deport two others, Sultan Sher and Janus Khan, who are in immigration detention, on the grounds of visa irregularities after dropping claims that they posed a threat to national security.

Five more, referred to only as VE, UF, ZA, YB and XC, are to appear before Siac for their deportation appeal hearing on March 10. \

Last week, Mr Justice Mitting ruled that Abdul Khan and Shoaib Khan, along with three others who applied for bail, should be held in custody until then.

Evidence passed to the tribunal claimed one of the men, who cannot be identified, exchanged e-mails with an associate of al-Qaeda.

MI5 analysis also suggested girls' names were used as code for bomb ingredients and that the mention of a wedding hinted at a planned attack.

The Home Office has refused to comment.

"Burkinis" for non-Muslims scrapped at British pool

An update on this story. "Swimming pool's dress code for non-Muslims is scrapped,"

A London council has backtracked on rules forcing swimmers to cover up at a public pool to avoid offending Muslims.

Croydon council has removed the guidelines from its website after being criticised for barring non-Muslims if they refused to comply with the dress code.

They were put in place for weekend swimming sessions for Muslims at Thornton Heath Leisure Centre despite a general ban on wearing T-shirts in the pool.

The council's online statement read: "During special Muslim sessions, male costumes must cover the body from the navel to the knee and females must be covered from the neck to the ankles and wrists."

Croydon Mosque and Islamic Centre praised the rules but said it would never have asked for them.

Trustee Shuaib Yusaf said: "If it was designated as a Muslim session to encourage Muslim women to come along, to that extent I could see a degree of merit in it."

Here's a thought. A lot of new Islamic centers have appeared in the U.K. Shouldn't they take up the cause of providing Sharia-compliant recreational facilities?

Malcolm Wicks, Labour MP for Croydon North, said asking non-Muslims to dress up to swim was not fair: "I just hope some common sense can prevail here."

That'd be nice.

"Islamic Awakening" website cheers British casualties in Afghanistan

A government spokeswoman said: "The role of the internet in radicalisation is an area of concern." The role of canonical Islamic texts... not so much.

British Muslim fanatics sparked fresh fury last night by praising Taliban “heroes” for sending our troops back from Afghanistan in body bags.

Dozens of homegrown “jihadis” have posted website messages cheering last weekend’s carnage in Helmand province that saw Britain’s death toll rise to 204 soldiers.

Last night there were calls by senior politicians for the Home Office to crack down on the hate-filled rants that will distress even further the relatives of troops who gave their lives fighting the Taliban.

The shameful website involved stoked up hatred as it emerged that one of two soldiers killed trying to save their mortally wounded commander had recently got married before deploying to Afghanistan.

The commander had got engaged while home on leave in June.

The tragedies were revealed yesterday as the Ministry of Defence named the three soldiers, all from 2nd Battalion The Royal Regiment of Fusiliers, who died on Sunday.

The gloating jihadi website, Islamic Awakening, is a forum for Islamic extremism, prompting a slew of vile attacks on the efforts of British troops to rescue Afghanistan from the grip of fundamentalists.

As soon as Western policymakers pin down who the "moderates" are -- the Shi'ite family law that just went into effect is another reminder of that problem.

The first messages were posted within minutes of the news of the latest outrage in Helmand on Sunday.

“Isma’eel”, said: “Man, they really are dropping like flies over there lol [laugh out loud].”
Another, calling himself “AbuJunayd”, said: “Inshallah [God-willing] the more the kuffs [non-Muslims] deploy, the more the bros will send em back in body bags, or crutches or with serious psychological problems.”

“Waziri” said: “By command of Allah, the invading forces will be forced to withdraw humiliated and defeated by a group of men who between them do not possess even one transport helicopter.”

“Noorah”, said: “They are really getting whooped. Don’t know how they think they can win.”

Senior Tory MP Patrick Mercer, chairman of the Commons counter-terrorism committee and a former Army officer, said: “It’s deeply distasteful and clearly the last thing that relatives of the dead want to see or hear.”

Last night the Daily Express informed the Office for Security and Counter Terrorism at the Home Office of the website’s content.

A spokeswoman said: “The role of the internet in radicalisation is an area of concern to Government.”

MP storms out of Muslim constituents' wedding after he was segregated from his wife

A Government minister today told how he and his wife walked out of a Muslim wedding after being segregated into male and female areas.

Labour MP Jim Fitzpatrick, the minister for food and farming, said the strictly-enforced rule threatened community cohesion in the heavily Muslim area of Whitechapel, East London.

Mr Fitzpatrick, 57, said he and his GP wife Sheila have attended many mosque weddings before but have never witnessed such an arrangement.

And he fears the growing trend is due to the influence of the Islamic Forum of Europe, proponents of Shariah law, who have links to the wedding venue.

'We've been attending Muslim weddings together for years but only recently has this strict line been taken, he said.

'The segregation of men and women didn’t used to be as much of a strong feature.
'But it is an indication of the stricter application of rules that is taking place that didn’t exist before.

'We left so as not to cause offence.'

The MP for nearby Poplar and Canning Town, added: ‘It is a disappointment. I think the stranglehold influence of the IFE is present more than ever before.

‘We are trying to build social cohesion in a community but this is not the way forward.’

The wedding between two members of his constituency took place on Sunday at the London Muslim Centre – part of the East London Mosque.

Mr Fitzpatrick said they had no idea they would be separated and when it became clear that his wife would be forced to sit in a different hall, they walked out.

It is a popular venue for community weddings but rules state all ceremonies must be held in accordance of Sahriah law, the Islamic code

It states: ‘Wedding hire at the LMC is only available for Islamic weddings.

‘Hirers should ensure they require a wedding that complies with Islamic Shariah in which there is no free mixing between sexes and where proper Islamic dress code and etiquettes are observed.

‘When both halls are booked for a wedding, women must use the Hajja Um Aref Hall (first floor) and men must use the Main Hall (ground floor)

Spokesman Mohammed Shakir said: ‘We are saddened to read that Jim Fitzpatrick MP did not like the arrangements at a wedding he attended with his wife at the London Muslim Centre.

‘Segregated weddings have always been popular in the Muslim community; the London Muslim Centre has facilitated them for over five years.

‘It is part of the attraction for Muslim families so they can celebrate their happy day in a religious atmosphere, a custom which is also found in other religious traditions represented in Britain.

‘We have always allowed non-Muslim guests to be seated together without segregation, but this is entirely at the discretion of the families who have hired the halls.'

He refused to comment on the suggestion that the IFE had influenced the centre, but a member of staff at the centre next to the East London mosque said they were surprised by Mr Fitzpatrick's comments.

He added: ‘It's just not true. We have our own policies.’

Mr Fitzgerald and his wife have been involved in the Muslim community for many years including a visit to Bangladesh with the World Health Organisation last year.

But the politician says he has been growing increasingly concerned about the divisive influence of ‘hardline’ Islamic influences in the area.

The Islamic Forum of Europe, is described as ‘moderate’ group with headquarters at the London Muslim Centre but with branches across the continent.

The organization was widely credited with George Galloway’s election victory in 2005.

Tuhel Ahmed, a spokesman for the Islamic Forum of Europe said: ‘How we influenced the private arrangements of this wedding is beyond me.

‘I cannot see what the link Mr Fitzpatrick is making here.

‘This was a personal choice of the bride and groom. How they choose to seat people and conduct their wedding is entirely up to them.

‘He and his wife were invited to a wedding and if they have a problem with the arrangements then my advice is don’t attend.

‘This is the first time an MP has criticised us as an organization.

‘To suggest we are hardline and responsible for damaging community cohesion is utterly ridiculous.

‘He is simply mistaken and silly to blame an organization for an individual’s wedding choices.

‘Labour is in complete disarray, maybe Mr Fitzgerald is worried about the election next year.
‘It’s yet another case of “let’s just blame the Muslims”.’

Mother of Three Killed by Muslim Road Racers...

A car dealer who killed a 'hard working mother of three' in a hit and run was branded callous and despicable by the judge who jailed him.

Atif Faiz was driving at twice the speed limit in a road race with another car, when he knocked down Amanda Bailey on a clear, cold winter night, Burnley Crown Court heard.

Rafhan Sarwar, one of the three passengers, described his friend's 'stupid heavy driving' as 'red lining every gear', prosecutor Timothy Brennand told the court.

Atif Faiz, 23, was sentenced to three years in jail for death by dangerous driving, after killing Amanda Bailey as she crossed the road.

Mr Brennand said the Astra was six seconds behind another car, and that both were going at a 'grossly excessive speed'.

He said: 'Witnesses described the vehicles as accelerating hard. One pedestrian had to take evasive action to avoid being hit.'

The other driver of the car managed to drive in front of Faiz, and sped past Ms Bailey, 33.
But the Morrisons supermarket shop assistant - who was on maternity leave - thought it was safe to cross and was half-way over the street when Faiz bore down on her at 60mph.

She was hit on Leeds Road, Nelson, Lancashire, at 11.50pm on February 11 this year and died shortly afterwards.
Mr Brennand said: 'There's some evidence the car attempted to swerve just before the incident but whatever evasive action was taken was too little, too late.'

Faiz and his companions failed to call an ambulance or stop at the scene, he said.

Mr Brennand said that 'none of them demonstrated any humanity or compassion' and branded their flight from the scene and subsequent silence during police questioning as 'shameful'.
The court heard that passenger Mohammed Tehseen Zaman, 19, confessed to two friends that he had been involved in a hit and run.

Another one of the passengers, Mohammed Zaheer Rashid, returned to the scene to find out what the police knew.

Mr Brennand said the group were returning from Huddersfield, where they had bought a car for Mohammed Tehseen Zaman's father.

He said Ms Bailey, whose daughters are aged 11 months, three and 13, was well-liked.

Mr Brennand said: 'She was well known, well respected, a hard working mother-of-three.'
Faiz, who has a six-week old child, pleaded guilty to causing death by dangerous driving.

The 23-year-old, of Leeds Road, Nelson, was jailed for three years. He also received a consecutive four-month sentence for assaulting a man in July last year.

Zaman, also of Leeds Road, was sentenced to 16 months in a young offenders' institution after pleading guilty to perverting the course of justice.

Judge Beverley Lunt told Faiz: 'Any human being who could treat another so callously can only be described as despicable.'

She added: 'If you have any conscience, you should be haunted every day of your life by what you have done and the hurt you have caused.'

Mohammed Zaheer Rashid, 24, of Burns Street, and Rafhan Sarwar, 19, of Charles Street, both Nelson, who pleaded not guilty to causing death by dangerous driving and conspiracy to pervert the course of justice, were discharged by Judge Lunt.

She told them: 'You acted dishonourably in this case and will have to live with the shame and with everyone knowing you acted with no honour for the rest of your lives.'

Ms Bailey's mother, Joan Smith, 53, who is raising her daughter's children, criticised the sentence.

Speaking outside court, she said: 'Three years for a life is not justice. I'm really disgusted.

'I feel sorry for them (the defendants) because if I put myself in their position I think I'd be frightened and panic but I'd never have left the body in the road, I wouldn't do that to a dog or a cat so I wouldn't do it to a human being.'

Detective Inspector Pete Broome, from Lancashire Police's major investigation team, said: 'Faiz's actions that night led to the death of a young woman who had so much to live for.

'His actions have not only left three young children without a mother, but a mother and father without their much loved daughter.

'This case highlights the stupidity of reckless, break-neck speeding, which played a huge part in this tragic incident. The terrible consequences of this collision should serve as a strong warning to people not to do this.'

Elizabeth Reed, division crown prosecutor for Burnley, said: 'This case serves as a reminder of the terrible consequences of driving in such a reckless way that other people's lives are endangered.'

British Muslims Outnumbering Christians at Christian Schools...

Christian pupils are now outnumbered by Muslims at Roman Catholic schools in some parts of England.

A survey has found 24 Catholic primary schools in the North West and the Midlands teach a minority of churchgoing children.

Fewer than one in 10 children are Catholic at one school in Birmingham, while the Church is ending its involvement with a similar establishment in Blackburn.

Overall, Catholics make up 73.34 per cent of pupils at the 2,300 schools linked to the denomination across England and Wales.

But The Tablet, a weekly Catholic magazine, found that in Oldham, Blackburn, Wolverhampton and Birmingham there has been a sharp decline in the proportion of Catholics being educated in local faith schools.

At English Martyrs in Sparkhill, Birmingham, just 36 of the 410 pupils are Catholic while the vast majority are Muslim.

At Sacred Heart Primary in Salford, there are only seven Catholic pupils and moves are under way to remove it from the diocese’s jurisdiction.

Canon Anthony McBride said: “It seems that, for some reason, many Catholic parents in Sacred Heart parish have, over a number of years, ceased to support their school.”

An inspection by the diocese in 2007 said the situation was “seriously affecting the school’s ability to provide a traditional Catholic education”.

Most of the non-Catholic parents let their children attend assemblies although a church visit led to “friction”.

Last year the Catholic Education Service said Catholic schools should provide multi-faith prayer rooms for Muslim, Jewish, Hindu and Sikh students.

It also suggested bathrooms should be adapted to accommodate ritual cleansing.

Suspect banned from UK for good

Mahmoud Abu Rideh was flown to a secret Middle Eastern country last week.

Home Secretary Alan Johnson slapped an exclusion order on Rideh, who has spent the past eight years in jail or on a control order.

The bearded Palestinian was among 17 men arrested shortly after the 9/11 attacks in 2001.

The then Home Secretary David Blunkett described him as "an active supporter of various international terrorist groups, including those with links to Osama Bin Laden's networks".

He was first held at Belmarsh top-security prison in South East London but then transferred to Broadmoor secure psychiatric hospital because of his fragile mental health.

He was later the subject of a control order under the Prevention of Terrorism Act 2005.

The Sun knows where Rideh was flown last week but has agreed to keep the location secret for security reasons.

We’ll ease up on Muslim fanatics

LABOUR slammed the brakes on its war against violent extremism yesterday - amid fears it had upset Muslim voters.

Millions spent preventing Asian kids becoming terrorists will now be used to tackle right-wing racists in WHITE areas.

Community cohesion minister Shahid Malik admitted he was softening his stance because Muslims felt stigmatised.

But a former Labour aide called the move a "dangerous dilution" of the Government's counter-terrorism strategy.

Tories branded it a shameless bid to win back Muslim voters who deserted Labour over Iraq and Afghanistan.

More than £45million a year has been spent on measures to prevent Al-Qaeda recruiting young Muslims in the UK.

It included action to break up Islamic ghettos and stop university hate preachers.

But Mr Malik, the first British-born Muslim MP, yesterday unveiled plans to broaden the scope of the campaign.

He announced: "We shall be putting a renewed focus on resisting right-wing racist extremism. We cannot dismiss or underestimate the threat."

Mr Malik told Sky News: "You speak to any Muslim in this country and they are as opposed as you and I are to extremism and terrorism.

"The frustration is they are constantly linked with terrorism as a community as a whole."

His action contrasts with the tough stance of ex-minister Hazel Blears. She broke links with Muslim groups that failed to denounce extremists.

Her adviser Paul Richards said: "The good work by Hazel is being undone in the name of political correctness."

Former shadow home secretary David Davis said: "This has been watered down for purely political reasons. Labour has always seen Muslim voters as its own property."

Doctor cleared of Glasgow bomb plot works in NHS hospital after Home Office dropped bid to deport him

Dr Mohammed Asha, 28, started work in a casualty ward after the Home Office withdrew a long-standing bid to deport him.

He was acquitted of conspiracy to murder and cause explosions, but officials had wanted to kick him out of the UK on the grounds that he was still a threat to national security.

The Jordanian neurologist works at the Royal Shrewsbury Hospital in Shropshire as Dr Jamil - his middle name.

He was arrested on the day of a suicide bomb attack on Glasgow Airport in 2007.

At the time, he worked for the University Hospital of North Staffordshire in Stoke-on-Trent.

Dr Asha spent a year on remand before being cleared by a jury at London's Woolwich Crown Court last year.

His solicitor said the father-of-one was determined to resume his career in the NHS.

'Mohammed Asha always said he was innocent and was not a threat to national security. Now, finally, he has been entirely vindicated,' Tayab Ali said.

'Hopefully he can now get back to his position before June 30, which was offering help and support to people in the UK by being an NHS doctor.'

But a security source told The Sun that although Dr Asha was cleared by a jury, 'serious doubts remained about his continued presence in this country'.

'That was why the Home Office wanted to deport him,' the source told the newspaper.

The hospital has confirmed that Dr Asha began working for The Shrewsbury and Telford Hospital NHS Trust after the Government dropped its deportation application.

Trust chief executive Tom Taylor said: 'Dr Mohammed Jamil Asha is a very capable young doctor and we are very pleased that he is continuing his training in our hospitals.

'It is important to remember that he has been proven innocent and the Government had withdrawn its application for deportation before he returned to the trust last week.

'We hope everyone will judge him on the basis of his medical skills, and respect his and our wishes to let him continue his training in peace.'

Dr Asha was tried alongside British-born Iraqi doctor Bilal Abdulla, who was jailed for at least 32 years for plotting to murder hundreds of civilians in terrorist car bomb attacks on London and Glasgow.

The prosecution alleged Dr Asha was the financier and supporter of the Glasgow airport terror cell.

He admitted knowing Abdulla and Indian engineering student Kafeel Ahmed, 28, who died from burns sustained during the 2007 Glasgow attack, but he claimed they betrayed him.

The court heard that Dr Asha had given money to both Abdulla and Ahmed, and extremist material was found on the doctor's laptop. But he said he did not know the £1,300 he lent to Abdulla was to rent and buy cars and bomb-making equipment.

When Abdulla was convicted of conspiracy to cause explosions and conspiracy to murder, and Dr Asha was cleared, the two men embraced in the dock.

The case against him was due to be heard by the Special Immigration Appeals Commission in October, but was withdrawn last week.

Dr Asha hopes his family can join him again in the UK after they were forced back to Jordan upon his arrest.

Asylum Seekers Sentenced for 'Terrifying' Gang Rape...

TWO asylum seekers who forced a teenage girl off the street and subjected her to a sustained and 'terrifying' rape ordeal had their sentences raised by the Court of Appeal.

Judges in London agreed with the Attorney General, Baroness Scotland, that five-year custodial terms imposed on Mohammed Ali and Alik Madi were too short. They added a further two years to each of their sentences. The pair, who lived in a hostel in Rochdale, Lancashire, attacked their victim in the town after spotting her as she made her way home alone at night.

They followed her, grabbed and overpowered her. During the ordeal the struggling girl managed to run away, but they pursued her and raped her after dragging her into bushes. After pleading guilty to rape Ali. a Kashmiri national, and Madi, from Algeria, who both claim to be 18, were each sentenced at Bolton Crown Court in February to five years in a young offenders' institution.

But it was successfully argued on behalf of the Attorney General that because of the aggravating features of a 'most grave offence' - including the fact that it was a 'double stranger rape' on a vulnerable victim - the original terms were unduly lenient. The sentences were increased by Lord Justice Goldring, sitting with two other judges.

Demographic time bomb: millions of Muslim immigrants will change Europe beyond recognition, and almost no policymakers are talking about it

And those who are talking about it are smeared and vilified as racists and bigots. When a nuclear-powered Islamic Republic of France threatens the U.S., however, some Americans may come to regret the ease with which they swallowed and even propagated defamation and lies about anti-jihad European politicians such as Geert Wilders.

"Muslim Europe: the demographic time bomb transforming our continent," by Adrian Michaels in the Telegraph,

Britain and the rest of the European Union are ignoring a demographic time bomb: a recent rush into the EU by migrants, including millions of Muslims, will change the continent beyond recognition over the next two decades, and almost no policy-makers are talking about it.

The numbers are startling. Only 3.2 per cent of Spain's population was foreign-born in 1998. In 2007 it was 13.4 per cent. Europe's Muslim population has more than doubled in the past 30 years and will have doubled again by 2015.

In Brussels, the top seven baby boys' names recently were Mohamed, Adam, Rayan, Ayoub, Mehdi, Amine and Hamza.

Europe's low white birth rate, coupled with faster multiplying migrants, will change fundamentally what we take to mean by European culture and society.

The altered population mix has far-reaching implications for education, housing, welfare, labour, the arts and everything in between. It could have a critical impact on foreign policy: a study was submitted to the US Air Force on how America's relationship with Europe might evolve. Yet EU officials admit that these issues are not receiving the attention they deserve.

Jerome Vignon, the director for employment and social affairs at the European Commission, said that the focus of those running the EU had been on asylum seekers and the control of migration rather than the integration of those already in the bloc. "It has certainly been underestimatede_SLps [sic] there is a general rhetoric that social integration of migrants should be given as much importance as monitoring the inflow of migrants." But, he said, the rhetoric had rarely led to policy.

The countries of the EU have long histories of welcoming migrants, but in recent years two significant trends have emerged. Migrants have come increasingly from outside developed economies, and they have come in accelerating numbers.

The growing Muslim population is of particular interest. This is not because Muslims are the only immigrants coming into the EU in large numbers; there are plenty of entrants from all points of the compass.

But Muslims represent a particular set of issues beyond the fact that atrocities have been committed in the West in the name of Islam.

America's Pew Forum on Religion & Public Life, part of the non-partisan Pew Research Center, said in a report: "These [EU] countries possess deep historical, cultural, religious and linguistic traditions. Injecting hundreds of thousands, and in some cases millions, of people who look, speak and act differently into these settings often makes for a difficult social fit."...

How dramatic are the population changes? Everyone is aware that certain neighbourhoods of certain cities in Europe are becoming more Muslim, and that the change is gathering pace. But raw details are hard to come by as the data is sensitive: many countries in the EU do not collect population statistics by religion.

EU numbers on general immigration tell a story on their own. In the latter years of the 20th century, the 27 countries of the EU attracted half a million more people a year than left. "Since 2002, however," the latest EU report says, "net migration into the EU has roughly tripled to between 1.6 million and two million people per year."

The increased pace has made a nonsense of previous forecasts. In 2004 the EU thought its population would decline by 16 million by 2050. Now it thinks it will increase by 10 million by 2060. Britain is expected to become the most populous EU country by 2060, with 77 million inhabitants. Right now it has 20 million fewer people than Germany. Italy's population was expected to fall precipitously; now it is predicted to stay flat.

The study for the US Air Force by Leon Perkowski in 2006 found that there were at least 15 million Muslims in the EU, and possibly as many as 23 million.

They are not uniformly distributed, of course. According to the US's Migration Policy Institute, residents of Muslim faith will account for more than 20 per cent of the EU population by 2050 but already do so in a number of cities. Whites will be in a minority in Birmingham by 2026, says Christopher Caldwell, an American journalist, and even sooner in Leicester.

Another forecast holds that Muslims could outnumber non-Muslims in France and perhaps in all of western Europe by mid-century. Austria was 90 per cent Catholic in the 20th century but Islam could be the majority religion among Austrians aged under 15 by 2050, says Mr Caldwell.

Projected growth rates are a disputed area. Birth rates can be difficult to predict and migrant numbers can ebb and flow. But Karoly Lorant, a Hungarian economist who wrote a paper for the European Parliament, calculates that Muslims already make up 25 per cent of the population in Marseilles and Rotterdam, 20 per cent in Malmo, 15 per cent in Brussels and Birmingham and 10 per cent in London, Paris and Copenhagen.

Recent polls have tended to show that the feared radicalisation of Europe's Muslims has not occurred. That gives hope that the newcomers will integrate successfully. Nonetheless, second and third generations of Muslims show signs of being harder to integrate than their parents.

Policy Exchange, a British study group, found that more than 70 per cent of Muslims over 55 felt that they had as much in common with non-Muslims as Muslims. But this fell to 62 per cent of 16-24 year-olds.

The population changes are stirring unease on the ground. Europeans often tell pollsters that they have had enough immigration, but politicians largely avoid debate.

France banned the wearing of the hijab veil in schools and stopped the wearing of large crosses and the yarmulke too, so making it harder to argue that the law was aimed solely at Muslims.

Britain has strengthened its laws on religious hatred. But these are generally isolated pieces of legislation.

Into the void has stepped a resurgent group of extreme-Right political parties, among them the British National Party, which gained two seats at recent elections to the European Parliament. Geert Wilders, the Dutch politician who speaks against Islam and was banned this year from entering Britain, has led opinion polls in Holland.

The Pew Forum identified the mainstream silence in 2005: "The fact that [extreme parties] have risen to prominence at all speaks poorly about the state and quality of the immigration debate. [Scholars] have argued that European elites have yet to fully grapple with the broader issues of race and identity surrounding Muslims and other groups for fear of being seen as politically incorrect."

The starting point should be greater discussion of integration. Does it matter at all? Yes, claims Mr Vignon at the European Commission. Without it, polarisation and ghettoes can result. "It's bad because it creates antagonism. It antagonises poor people against other poor people: people with low educational attainment feel threatened," he says.

The EU says employment rates for non-EU nationals are lower than for nationals, which holds back economic advancement and integration. One important reason for this is a lack of language skills. The Migration Policy Institute says that, in 2007, 28 per cent of children born in England and Wales had at least one foreign-born parent. That rose to 54 per cent in London.

Overall in 2008, 14.4 per cent of children in primary schools had a language other than English as their first language.

Muslims, who are a hugely diverse group, have so far shown little inclination to organise politically on lines of race or religion. But that does not mean their voices are being ignored.

Germany started to reform its voting laws 10 years ago, granting certain franchise rights to the large Turkish population. It would be odd if that did not alter the country's stance on Turkey's application to join the EU. Mr Perkowski's study says: "Faced with rapidly growing, disenfranchised and increasingly politically empowered Muslim populations within the borders of some of its oldest and strongest allies, the US could be faced with ever stronger challenges to its Middle East foreign policies."

Demography will force politicians to confront these issues sooner rather than later. Recently, some have started to nudge the debate along. Angel GurrĂa, the OECD secretary-general, said in June: "Migration is not a tap that can be turned on and off at will. We need fair and effective migration and integration policies; policies that work and adjust to both good economic times and bad ones."

That is not the core of the problem. The core of the problem is that they have a ready-made system of laws and customs that they consider superior to the laws and customs of Europe, and are ready to replace the one with the other. And their system denies freedom of speech and conscience, as well as equality of rights for women and non-Muslims. As such, all free people should be fighting against it.

A fifth of European Union will be Muslim by 2050

Saudi imam who called Jews "scum, rats, pigs, monkeys" speaks in London -- Geert Wilders still barred

Geert Wilders, an international champion of free speech, is barred from Britain, but a Jew-hating Islamic supremacist is just fine with UK authorities.

Absurd Britannia Alert: "Anti-Semitic Saudi chief imam feted in London: Senior cleric of Mecca's Grand Mosque speaks at East London Mosque," from Peter Tatchell, Green Party parliamentary candidate for Oxford East, August 4

Despite his sectarian, racist incitements that Jews are "scum...rats...pigs and monkeys," the chief cleric of the Grand Mosque in Mecca, Sheikh Abdul Rahman al Sudais, has been welcomed and invited to preach at the East London mosque in Whitechapel tonight, Tuesday evening, 4 August 2009.

Al-Sudais, who has close ties to the Saudi elite, has also insulted Christians and Hindus, referring disparagingly to Christians as "cross-worshippers" and Hindus as "idol worshippers".
He has been banned from Canada for his anti-Semitism.
The chairman of the East London mosque is Muhammad Abdul Bari. He is also the leader of the Muslim Council of Britain (MCB).

Although the MCB has condemned anti-Semitism, it has previously declined to criticise the anti-Semitism of al-Sudais and has continued to support him despite his anti-Jewish tirade.

"Al-Sudais has stoked religious sectarianism and anti-Jewish racism. He has never expressed any regret," said human rights campaigner, Peter Tatchell, who is urging the East London mosque and the MCB to publicly condemn al-Sudais's "shameful prejudice."

"As a condition for him being allowed to preach, the East London mosque and MCB should insist that al-Sudais apologise for his anti-Semitism and publicly state his opposition to hatred, discrimination and violence against Jewish people.

"The East London mosque received $US1m from the Saudis towards its new London Muslim Centre. The mosque's links to Saudi Arabia go back many years, according to the BBC.

"I don't understand why the Home Secretary is allowing al-Sudais into Britain, given that similar hate preachers have been banned. Is it because of the close business links between the British and Saudi establishments? " queried Mr Tatchell.

"Al-Sudais was appointed imam of the Grand Mosque by the royal leaders of the pro-western Saudi dictatorship. His continuing tenure as chief imam is a damning indictment of the Saudi regime's toleration of anti-Semitism.

"I am surprised that the Jewish community in Britain has not kicked up a big fuss about him coming to Britain," said Mr Tatchell....

Tatchell has many quotes from Al-Sudais establishing his antisemitism.

Immigrants who jeer at British troops in the street to be barred from gaining citizenship

Immigrants who jeer at British troops in the street or 'show disregard for UK values' will be barred from gaining citizenship.

Migrants wanting a UK passport will also have to pass a history test for the first time - an idea ministers had previously spent four years resisting.

Immigration Minister Phil Woolas says that demonstrating against servicemen - as took place recently in disgraceful scenes in Luton - 'enrages' law abiding Britons, and should be a block on a foreigner obtaining citizenship

It is included in tough new rules unveiled today to reduce the all-time record number of citizenship applications being approved by the Home Office.

A Muslim protest against British soldiers as they march through Luton. Demonstrators could lose their citizenship under tough new laws

Mr Woolas said the new points-based citizenship rules would also stop the population from reaching 70million, and bring 'control' to the migration system.

And, in an exclusive Daily Mail interview, he revives a previously discredited promise that the population will not be allowed to reach 70million, as is currently predicted by Whitehall statisticians.

Mr Woolas said that increasing the UK population - which currently stands at 61m - by such an amount was not 'sustainable'.

His comments came as the Home Office prepared to unveil the radical new points system for judging citizenship applications.

At present, migrants who work legally in Britain for an average of five years are automatically allowed to progress to citizenship, provided they pass a short test on Life in the UK, introduced in 2005.

The test does not include a single question on British history, as officials judged there was 'too much' and it would not be fair.

Under these rules, the number of British passports handed out to migrants is on-course to hit an all-time record of almost 220,000 this year.

Today, Mr Woolas gives an explicit commitment that he wants to use the new points-based citizenship system to cut this number.

Passport cuts: Immigration minister Phil Woolas believes this move will decrease the number of migrants
Migrants will still have to work legally in the UK for a fixed number of years, and pass the Life in the UK test, but will then also have to go through a new screening system.

Points will be awarded for earning potential, any special skills, qualifications, whether a person works in a shortage occupation, speaks a good standard of English and even if they are willing to live in a more remote part of the UK.

The number of points needed will be adjusted, on a regular basis, to limit the number of passports being approved, and ensure population growth is kept more firmly under 'control'.
Crucially, a number of factors which could lead to a migrant being deducted points, and effectively stopped from becoming a citizen, will also be included in the new system.

These include committing serious criminal or anti-social behaviour - usually resulting in a prison sentence - or 'circumstances where an active disregard for UK values is demonstrated'.

This would include attending a demonstration against British soldiers, or showing disrespect to the war dead.

Mr Woolas said: 'If you are demonstrating against our soldiers or being disrespectful that could be taken into account. The things that really do enrage people.'

Politically, the most important element of the plan is the decision to break the link between economic migration and citizenship.

Today's consultation paper will say: 'This represents a major change in approach, challenging what has been perceived to be an automatic right to move from temporary residence to settlement.'

It adds: 'For Government to manage population growth, it must have mechanisms to control who is allowed to stay in the UK on a permanent basis.'

Critics will argue it is long overdue. During the first three months of 2009, a staggering 54,615 citizenship applications were rubber-stamped by the Home Office - up 57 per cent on the same period a year earlier, and the equivalent of nearly one every two minutes.

At current rates, the number of immigrants receiving UK passports - and with them the right to claim full benefits - will obliterate the previous record of 164, 540 approvals, set in 2007.
Ministers have also come under sustained attack for refusing to impose a 'cap' on the number of migrants allowed into the country.

Mr Woolas, shortly after being promoted to the post of immigration minister last autumn, landed in political trouble by saying he would not allow the population to reach 70m, as is projected to happen within the next 20 years.

His comments were interpreted as meaning there would be a cap on migrant numbers, a position from which he was quickly forced to climb down.

Today, however, he says that by introducing the new points-based citizenship system he has a policy which can be used to peg the population below 70 - and that he will ensure this happens.

He said: 'It is the intention we can use this policy to reduce numbers. We think it is better than a cap.'The new test on British history and politics will take place after a migrant has completed the citizenship points-test, and undergone a period of 'earned citizenship' - normally lasting for between one and three years, depending on whether they are prepared to carry out voluntary work.

The voluntary work - which could controversially include trade union activism - will speed up the citizenship process by as much as two years. The new test will be the first time a migrant has been compelled to learn British history, despite repeated protests from critics over the last four years that a basic understanding of the nation's past is crucial to integration.

The existing multiple-choice Life in the UK test, which will remain, concentrates on questions such as how to contact the emergency services and claim benefits.

Three policewomen spend full day dressed in Muslim burkhas in controversial 'In Your Shoes' exercise

Three female police officers were ordered to dress up as Muslim women for the day just to see what it felt like.

They wore traditional burkhas as part of a scheme designed to help police interact better with the Islamic community.

Two covered their faces with hijab headscarves and niqab veils, leaving only narrow slits to see through, and another wore Muslim dress and a headscarf showing her face.

Critics yesterday lined up to denounce the scheme as ‘political correctness gone mad,’ and accused South Yorkshire Police of losing sight of its main objective.

Douglas Murray, of the Centre for Social Cohesion think-tank, said: ‘You just couldn’t make it up.
‘The victims of crime must be amazed that the police have so much time on their hands that they can spend a day playing dress-up.

‘This is a complete waste of police time and taxpayers’ money. It’s not the duty of police to empathise with particular sections of the community. It is the duty of the police to prevent crime and catch criminals.

‘After this are they planning to dress as members of other communities such as Hindus and Buddhists?’

Fiona McEvoy, of the TaxPayers’ Alliance, said: ‘The police should be spending their time trying to catch criminals rather than indulging in gimmicky exercises.

‘This is political correctness gone mad – it’s ridiculous. These kind of schemes seem to yield few measurable benefits.

‘Taxpayers would rather see the officers concentrating their efforts and resources on providing decent frontline policing, making the streets safer for every section of the community.

‘The police are overstretched as it is without officers being paid to do other things than their real job.’

The officers, Sergeant Deb Leonard, Sergeant Deb Pickering and Police Community Support Officer Helen Turner, all from Sheffield, were accompanied by four Muslim women to help them learn more about the Islamic faith on a tour of the city.

In return, the Muslim women were shown around South Yorkshire Police’s custody suite and CCTV office and learned about the day-to-day duties of a police officer.

A spokesman for the force said the exercise, called ‘In Your Shoes Day’, was designed to help officers interact better with the Muslim community across Sheffield.

‘This exercise is just one of many activities South Yorkshire Police have planned with communities and ethnic minority leaders to secure strong relationships, celebrate diversity and encourage integration, working towards a safer, closer society,’ she added.

But she said there were no plans to extend the scheme for officers to dress up as members of other minority communities.

Mr Murray said the scheme showed that the police were ‘having a nervous breakdown’. Sid Cordle, Sheffield-based Yorkshire regional organiser of the Christian People’s Alliance, said: ‘As far as we are concerned this form of dress is a symbol of oppression of women. The police should not be encouraging it.

‘If they really want to know how Muslim women feel they could learn far more by going and living amongst them and talking to them.’

The police spokesman said the officers who dressed up believed they were being monitored by security staff when they went into a shop and were stared at in the street.

But she admitted that they were unsure whether this was down to their clothing or being overly conscious of their appearance.

‘This is something which Muslim women would have to encounter and contemplate as a regular part of their lives,’ she added.

‘Two of the Muslim women anticipated that people may stare and possibly make comment, whilst the police officers entered this exercise with an open mind not knowing quite what to expect.’

Sergeant Leonard said the experience had given her a greater appreciation of how Muslim women feel when they walk out in public in ‘clothing appropriate to their beliefs’.

Girl, 15, Forced to Marry Rapist...

Police are hunting a suspected illegal immigrant accused of raping a 15-year-old schoolgirl who had been forced to marry him.

The Bangladeshi, in his 40s, is also wanted over claims that he sexually assaulted the girl's 12-year-old sister.

He disappeared after the elder girl, now aged 17, contacted the Metropolitan Police on June 26 because she feared she was now being forced into a second marriage.

Specialist child abuse detectives based at Stratford were told that the girl, from an Asian family living in Bethnal Green in London's East End, had been the subject of a forced marriage in April 2007 when she was 15.

Officers have arrested a 53-year-old woman, believed to be another family member, on suspicion of aiding and abetting rape and actual bodily harm. The arrest for assault is linked to an attack on a six-year-old boy.

A Metropolitan Police spokesman said: 'The sham marriage took place at an address in the E2 area. She alleged she was subsequently raped by the man.
'Further inquiries revealed a second girl, then aged 12, had also been sexually assaulted by the man.

'A 53-year-old woman was arrested on July 7 on suspicion of aiding and abetting rape and actual bodily harm.

'She has subsequently been bailed to return on September 1 to an East London police station pending further enquiries.

'The male suspect remains outstanding and extensive police inquiries continue to trace him.'

Sponging Islamists Call for Queen's Prosecution...

FANATICS led by a sponging Islamic extremist enraged MPs yesterday by publicly demanding the Queen is prosecuted - for GENOCIDE.

Rabble-rouser Anjem Choudary's cohorts accused British troops of wiping out the civilian population in Afghanistan and said it was Her Majesty's fault because she is "the head of this country".

In an internet rant to fellow extremist Muslims, they declare: "She is the one who applauds her sons and daughters to go out and massacre hundreds and thousands of innocent people.

"Shouldn't she be tried for genocide and the extermination of a nation?" The fanatics insist: "Yes." Labour MP Andrew Dismore said of the shameful attack that appeared on a website linked to Choudary: "Never mind calling for the prosecution of the Queen.

"The Queen should prosecute HIM. It's about time he was busted."

Fellow MP Patrick Mercer - chairman of the Commons counter- terrorism sub-committee - branded it an "insult to our monarch."

The ex-soldier stormed: "We must recognise Mr Choudary's words for what they are - weapons being wielded by al-Qaeda and the Taliban.

"This is the next phase of an enemy operation in our country."

Cops are currently investigating Choudary, 42 - who is on benefits and is a pal of hate preacher Omar Bakri - for demanding gays be stoned to death.

Douglas Murray, of the Centre for Social Cohesion, said of the latest outrage: "It's especially offensive because the people behind it are living off handouts from the British taxpayer."
