Zia Khan and Abdul Suffi, sentenced to more than 11 years in prison after being pulled over on the motorway near Hilton Park services, near Essington, Wolverhampton
Police found £50,000 worth of heroin hidden in a car used by two Birmingham drug dealers after they were pulled over on the M6.
Zia Khan and Abdul Suffi were halted by police on the motorway near to Hilton Park Services in November 2013 as they made their way back from Manchester with the heroin haul.
The bag containing the drugs was found stuffed underneath a front seat during a search of the car.
Khan, 25, of Ivy Road, Handsworth, was jailed at Birmingham Crown Court for four years eight months and Suffi, 22, of Hampton Road, Aston, was jailed for seven years.
Det Chief Insp Chris Mallet, West Midlands Police crime manager for Birmingham, said: “This is a significant result that has seen street seller dealers jailed.
“There is no place for drug criminality in the West Midlands and we are committed to getting dealers and drugs off our streets .”
