BRITISH soldiers and police are being sent to reinforce French ports amid fears Islamic State jihadis could board ferries and “execute” Britons.
The deployment, which according to a senior UK security source has “nothing routine” about it, is said to come after intelligence warnings point to Britain-bound ferries as potential targets for warped ISIS butchers.
British spy and security forces want to predict where terrorists would strike after atrocities such as the Bastille day lorry attack in Nice which killed 84 and the murder of a priest at his altar.
A senior UK security source told the Mirror: “The presence of the police and soldiers near Calais is very alarming – there’s nothing routine about it.
