A MURDERER who had been convicted of beheading a Dutch woman was allowed into Britain without any security checks - where he attacked two police officers with a hammer.
Afghan-born Jamshid Piruz didn’t face a single security check when he arrived in Britain, despite being handed a 12-year prison sentence for killing his female tenant after watching a Taliban beheading video.
Piruz, 34, is set to be sentenced on Friday after he plead guilty to a horrific hammer attack on two Sussex Police officers on January 7 last year.

PC Jessica Chick and PC Stewart Young were the victims of the horrendous assault, with PC Young being taken to hospital with head injures.
Piruz had only been in Britain a few days when he carried out the attack as the officers investigated a burglary in Crawley West Sussex.
This wasn’t even his first assault since arriving on British soil - the jobless convict had assaulted a staff member at Gatwick airport just days before.
The Home Office has faced heavy criticism following the attack, with MPs condemning the appalling lack of checks on criminals arriving from the EU.
Under EU law, European countries are not obliged to tell UK officials about convictions of murderers or sex offenders which allows them to come to Britain without any difficulties.
Piruz had served seven years in a Dutch jail after he was convicted in 2007 for the murder of his Chinese female tenant, who he beheaded in a house in Almere, near Amsterdam.
Conservative MP Henry Smith, who represents Crawley, said: “The country has got to have tougher border controls. Clearly, being a member of the EU did not protect us on this occasion.
“A very dangerous individual was allowed to travel here without us having prior knowledge that he’d committed murder in the Netherlands.
“It is staggering that someone could assault staff at Gatwick and then a couple of days later attack two police officers.
He added: “Why was the information that he was a violent offender not available to us from our EU partners?
“This is an appalling example of the kind of people who are getting into the country undetected.”
Britain also has a steadily lengthening record of admitting jihad preachers without a moment of hesitation. Syed Muzaffar Shah Qadri’s preaching of hatred and jihad violence was so hardline that he was banned from preaching in Pakistan, but the UK Home Office welcomed him into Britain. The UK Home Office recently admitted Shaykh Hamza Sodagar into the country, despite the fact that he has said: “If there’s homosexual men, the punishment is one of five things. One – the easiest one maybe – chop their head off, that’s the easiest. Second – burn them to death. Third – throw ’em off a cliff. Fourth – tear down a wall on them so they die under that. Fifth – a combination of the above.” The Home Office also recently admitted two jihad preachers who had praised the murderer of a foe of Pakistan’s blasphemy laws. One of them was welcomed by the Archbishop of Canterbury.
