A 12-year-old girl who was plied with cannabis before being raped by two brothers did not know who had fathered her child when she gave birth, a court has heard.
The schoolgirl was allegedly abused by Basharat Dad, now 32, and his now 36-year-old brother Nassar after she began associating with an Asian gang.
The court heard how the girl was 'so scared' that she let the brothers 'do what they wanted', 'submitting' to them after they fed her drugs and alcohol.
On one occasion, the court was told how the girl was locked in their flat overnight without heating or water and had to be rescued bu her mother.
Describing the attacks, prosecutor Sophie Drake told Sheffield Crown Court: 'She was scared so she let them do what they wanted.
'They both raped her and she submitted to them. The brothers knew she was only 12 at the time. They gave her alcohol and drugs and were aggressive to her and she felt she had no choice.'
Five men from Rotherham are now on trial facing 23 charges of sexually abusing two girls aged 12 and 13 over a two-year period.
Among the defendants is Tayab Dad, a brother of Basharat and Nassar, who allegedly raped the 13-year-old.
The court heard how the Dad family, who lived in Eastwood, Rotherham, had a fireworks shop and the alleged assaults took place at a flat they owned nearby.
Ms Drake said the two alleged victims did not know each other but were friends with Basharat.
She told the court: 'As young teenagers in Rotherham they were sexually exploited by a number of men, they were vulnerable and given alcohol and cannabis and told to perform sexual acts.'
Ms Drake said the 12-year-old, who is now 28, began hanging around with older girls and playing truant from school.
She went missing from home and was having sex with several different teenagers, feeling as though she had 'no choice' but to submit, the court heard.
'By the age of 12, she was having sexual intercourse with a number of males,' she told the court. 'Some were 15 or 16, some were much older.'
The court heard how the girl fell pregnant when she was 12 but did not know who the father was.
When police became involved, the girl told the the names of five men with whom she had sex including Basharat and two of the other defendants.
The girl told officers Basharat - then aged 16 - was the second man she had sex with at a flat near the Dad's shop.
She then met Matloob Hussain - a 25-year-old takeaway delivery driver - who allegedly had sex with her at his home.
She then had sexual intercourse with Mohammed Sadiq, then 24, when his parents were away.
Police arrested Basharat, Matloob and Sadiq in 2001 who all denied having sex with the girl. They were not charged but two other teenagers were cautioned.
But the alleged offences came to light again when South Yorkshire Police began investigating the sexual exploitation of young girls in Rotherham in 2014.
The 12-year-old was reinterviewed and the men were arrested again. 'She thought she was streetwise but now realised she wasn't,' said Miss Drake.
Meanwhile, the court heard how the 13-year-old victim had started having sex with Asian men from a young age.
She met the Dad brothers at their shop and would meet Basharat two or three times a week. They would smoke cannabis and have sex, the court heard.
Miss Drake said: 'The brothers were aware she was under 16 and knew she was at school.
'They supplied her with alcohol and cannabis so that they could do what they wanted to.'
The teenager told police Basharat would 'wear her down' by giving her drugs.
'She did not have the freedom to choose,' she added.
The court heard Basharat took her to a flat in Sheffield where she was plied with drugs and alcohol and woke up naked in bed.
'She knew she had had sex but could not have consented because she was asleep,' said Miss Drake.
Tayab Dad also forced himself upon the girl in the fireworks shop, it is alleged. The girl told the police: 'He would not stop until he got summat.'
Basharat denied any sexual contact with the girl until she was 20 and Tayab said he did not know her.
Basharat denies four offences of raping the 13-year-old girl and two offences of raping the 12-year-old girl.
He also pleaded not guilty to two offences of having unlawful sexual intercourse with the 12-year-old, a joint charge of falsely imprisoning her and five indecent assaults against the 13-year-old.
Nassar denies two offences of raping the 12-year-old girl, two offences of having unlawful sexual intercourse with her, two offences of inciting indecency with the girl and a joint charge with Basharat of false imprisonment.
Tayab denies raping the older girl above the fireworks shop.
Mohammed Sadiq, 40, and Matloob Hussain, 41, both plead not guilty to having unlawful sex with the 12-year-old.
Amjad Ali, 38, has already admitted having unlawful sex with the 12-year-old girl.
The trial, which is expected to last six weeks, continues.
