Suicide Bombing Supporter at 7/7 IslamExpo

I don’t understand why the British public is not outraged at this, but on the anniversary of the 7/7 London bombings a major Islamic promotional event is planned, with a number of radical Muslim Brotherhood and Hamas-linked figures scheduled as speakers along with representatives of wacko leftist groups such as Christian Peacemaker Teams. Here’s our original post about the Islam Expo, from June 25: Celebration of Islam Scheduled for 7/7.
The Daily Mail has a report on one of these terrorist-supporting clerics, Azzam Tamimi: Muslim cleric who condoned suicide bombers to speak on eve of 7/7 anniversary.
Palestinian-born Azzam Tamimi, 51, will be one of the main speakers at IslamExpo, which starts the day before the first anniversary of the July 7 suicide attacks on the capital.

In an interview with BBC News 24’s Hardtalk programme in November 2004, he said sacrificing himself for Palestine was a "noble cause" and he would do it "if I had the opportunity".
But today Dr Tamimi, director of the London-based Institute of Islamic Political Thought, insisted the situation in Palestine was "entirely unrelated" to last year’s July 7 attacks. He said: "I have always made a distinction between the right of the Palestinian people to fight the Israeli occupation and the terrorist attacks on London.
"To confuse the two is to do a great injustice to the British public."
Dr Tamimi defended his earlier comments, saying: "I said if I were to be put in the same circumstances that the Palestinians are put in, I might resort to doing that. Millions of people say this around the world."
Anas Altikriti, a spokesman for IslamExpo, said the conference was intended to "build bridges" between Muslims and non-Muslims. He said: "I think I speak on behalf of all at IslamExpo in saying we are extremely proud to have Dr Tamimi involved."
Anas Altikriti, who wants to build bridges between Muslims and non-Muslims (Jews not included), is the son of the founder of the Muslim Brotherhood in Iraq
