A student has been jailed for 10 years for carrying out three rapes in central London.
Amro Mohamed, 21, of Wedderburn Road, Swiss Cottage, London, targeted the two lone women, aged in their early 20s, in Piccadilly last November and December.
He would pretend to offer them free nightclub tickets but instead take them to the St James's Park area, near Buckingham Palace, to assault them.
Southwark Crown Court heard he raped one victim twice.
The women had both been out for the evening in the Piccadilly area and had become separated from their friends as they left a bar or nightclub, when they were approached by Mohamed.
He told them he was a nightclub promoter before leading them off to a secluded area.
Det Ch Insp Tony Nash said: "This man was preying on vulnerable women who had been out enjoying themselves in the run up to Christmas and were on their way home.
"This man was calculating, and manipulative and I am delighted that the sentence reflects the severity of this crime."
