Two "well-wishers" posing as family stopped from seeing Malala Yousafzai, schoolgirl shot by the Taliban, in hospital

Well-wishers? Nonsense. This is much, much more likely to have been an attempt at a hit by Taliban supporters in the UK.
Two well-wishers posing as relatives have been stopped by police from visiting Malala Yousafzai, the Pakistani schoolgirl shot in the head by the Taliban who has been flown to the UK for specialist medical care.
The visitors, one of whom claimed to be Malala's mother, were prevented from seeing the 14-year-old after turning up at Birmingham's Queen Elizabeth Hospital.

Officers are guarding the site as Malala receives care under tight security conditions. She had been targeted by the Taliban because she was campaigning for better education for girls.

The teenager, who arrived in Britain yesterday and has not been accompanied by her family, is not allowed to receive any visitors in hospital and police are ready to arrest anyone they believe tries to go and see her in suspicious circumstances.....

Taliban justifies shooting of schoolgirl: "The Quran says that people propagating against Islam and Islamic forces would be killed"
