An asylum-seeker who murdered two teenage girls and left their bodies in a flat has been sentenced to life imprisonment and told he will serve at least 34 years.
Ahmad Otak, of Wakefield, stabbed to death his ex-girlfriend's sister, 17-year-old Kimberley Frank, and her friend Samantha Sykes, who was 18, in March. The 21 year old, from Afghanistan, came to the UK in 2007.
He visited Kimberley's flat in Barden Road to discuss his stormy relationship with her sister Elisa before the murders took place.
