"Asian" Man Jailed For 7 Years For Rape Of Teenager In Car Where? Britain,Of Course!

A young man who raped a teenager in a secluded spot in West Byfleet has been jailed for seven years.
Navmeet Modha, 22, a father of one who is expecting a second child, was sentenced at Guildford Crown Court on Friday (December 13) after forcing the girl to perform a sex act on him in a car.
Modha was convicted last month of rape and the theft of the victim's mobile phone.
Two co-defendants - Ali Malik and Mohamed Abdi, both 18 - have been cleared of all charges they faced in connection with the incident.
The court previously heard that the teenager met up with Mr Abdi, who she had met once previously, on June 3 this year.
Mr Abdi, together with Modha and Mr Malik, travelled in Modha’s car to meet the victim, who agreed to "hang out" with them.
They parked in a secluded area and it was there that Modha forced the girl to perform a sex act on him, jurors were told.
'Living nightmare'
Sentencing Modha, Judge Suzan Matthews said: "The victim was a young woman, she met you for the first time on the occasion she was raped.
"She put it so simply - 'it was a living nightmare'.
"She submitted because she had no choice and she was terrified.
"You saw her as something, not someone. You saw her as something you could use for your own sexual pleasure.
"You had no interest in her whatsoever."
Following the rape, when the car was being driven towards London, the girl was told that "in essence, she was being kidnapped", prosecutor Graham Smith said during a trial last month.
She jumped from the moving car and rolled onto the pavement before a passer-by called the police.
'Married young'
Richard Button, defending Modha, said on Friday: "References say he has shown kindness to many, including his mother who is not a well woman.
"He married very young, he has a son from that marriage. He contributes to his [the child's] keep as and when he is able.
"It's all self-inflicted but he has learnt from all of this."
Mr Button told the court Modha has a partner who is carrying his baby.
The defendant, of Chilmark Road, Croydon, was sentenced to seven years for rape and a concurrent six-month term for theft. He must also sign the sex offenders' register.
Mr Malik, of Ashridge Way, Morden, was acquitted by the jury of sexual assault.
Mr Abdi, of Park View Drive, Mitcham, was also found not guilty of sexual assault. Jurors at the trial failed to agree a verdict on a charge of rape against Mr Abdi, and the prosecution confirmed on Friday that it would not be seeking a retrial on that count and he was found not guilty.
