'Migrants' Set Up Brothel at Car Wash...

Police have received a string of complaints from shocked drivers in North Wales who have taken their vehicles to be cleaned and been asked if they are looking for girls while they wait.

Now a special taskforce which targets human trafficking and modern day slavery is investigating to determine how widespread the problem is.
James Coy, the North Wales Anti-Slavery co-ordinator, said that while the area didn’t have a red light district, they did have a problem with sexual exploitation.
He said: “We’re seeing a trend across North Wales and the UK where single male customers are going to hand car washes and are being offered sex.
“A migrant worker or a group of migrant workers will clean a car and ask ‘Do you want to go inside?’
“It is prostitution. They’re often Eastern European but very vulnerable people.”
The incidents happened in Anglesey and Wrexham but Mr Coy is concerned that desperate refugees arriving from war-torn places such as Syria could also be exploited.
He added: “Right here in sleepy North Wales we have that thoroughfare to the UK so we have to be vigilant.”
