Facebook user has been arrested after posting a message praising the ISIS terror attacks in Paris and claiming that Manchester could be next.

The post surfaced on Sunday afternoon for around 45 minutes before police were alerted and it was removed.

A 21-year-old from Todmorden, West Yorkshire, was arrested this morning and remains in police custody on suspicion of inciting racial hatred.

The post read: 'My brothers did well in Paris. Now we have proved that there's a bit of intelligence, planning and synchronization going into our killings.

'You people are starting to realize that we are a force to be reckoned with. WE ARE ISIS, THIS IS OUR TIME NOW.

'Keep your eyes on Manchester, AALUUACKHBAAR! Rip jihadi john.'

Facebook users hit out at the rant and reported him to police. It is believed the person who posted it is British born.

One said: 'Whoever has written this really does want to be ashamed of themselves.'

Another added: 'This is just disgusting and disrespectful. How could you be so twisted?'

A third person said: 'All those people and children losing their lives and you think you're funny writing s**t like this? Scumbag.'

At least 132 people were killed during six co-ordinated bomb blasts and shootings in the French capital on Friday evening.

ISIS has claimed responsibility for the attacks, which injured hundreds more.

A spokesman for West Yorkshire Police said: 'A 21-year-old male from Todmorden has been arrested today for publishing material intending to incite racial hatred.

'This follows a Facebook post supporting Islamic State.

'West Yorkshire Police take this behaviour seriously, especially in light of the recent events in Paris.

'The male remains in custody whilst police investigate the offence.'
