British teenager, 16, who tried to flee to Syria after being radicalised at home is sent back to her ‘lying’ parents by judge

  • I am speechless ! (well almost) how can a judge let this go unpunished, if this isnt promoting terrorism I dont know what does. This family are a clear and present danger to our way of life. I also wonder how long it will be before the powers that be have to introduce internment in the interests of public safety, I can just imagine thge outcry from the `Loony Leftie Luvvies.

A British teenager who tried to flee to Syria after being radicalised in a family home ‘saturated’ with Islamic State propaganda is set to return to her parents – despite a judge saying she is a ‘significant risk’.

Bomb-making guides, images of beheadings and plans of MI5 headquarters were found at the East London home of the bright 16-year-old, where her Algerian-born father had let her watch ultra-violent material so often that she became numb to its content.

The girl, who cannot be named, had planned to join Islamic State in December 2014 to become a jihadi bride, but was detained on a Turkey-bound aircraft at Heathrow.

She was put into care by High Court judge Mr Justice Hayden last year after it emerged her father and mother – described as zealous and controlling – lied about her viewing disturbing propaganda.

But last week the judge reversed his decision, saying her parents were now aware of their destructive influence.

If her father breaks an undertaking not to share horrific images, he will be jailed.

And how does the judge plan on policing this? If her parents have brainwashed her then they should have kept her in care.
