This is a petition calling to stop Councils from having the power to allow loudspeaker calls to prayer, in order to keep noise levels down and, in this way, to help stop the stress which loud noise already causes in modern life.

We have noise abatement officers in most councils and there is already too much loud noise due to crowding in modern life. We do not need to have loudspeakers being used in our cities and towns.
