35,000 Sign VIRAL Petition Demanding Rape Gang Report Made Public

Right: four members of the Telford rape gang, which raped up to 1,000 young girls.
A petition calling on the Home Office to release a report into the characteristics of grooming gangs has gone viral, after hitting 25,000 signatures in little over 12 hours.

Please note: this article is being updated as the number of signatures rises.
The petition, started by free speech activist Jonathan Wong, is currently the fastest-growing petition on the government’s website, and is the site’s most-signed petition with over 35,000 signatures in less than 24 hours.
Commissioned by former Home Secretary Sajid Javid in 2018, the Home Office’s report into the characteristics of grooming gangs was the first major step the government had taken to tackle the large-scale rape gang crisis across the UK.
The report was in response to revelations from towns and cities across the UK of huge rape gangs, with members predominantly of Pakistani heritage praying on young (predominantly white) girls in their thousands.
The report has now concluded but the Home Office have refused to publish its findings, claiming that doing so would “not be in the public interest”.
The petition’s description states:

“We, the British public, demand the release of the official research on grooming gangs undertaken by the Government in full.”
Wong, who started the petition, told Kipper Central: “19,000 cases of gang rape were recorded in just one year – this is a huge police cover up and is very much in the public interest.”
If you’d like to sign the petition, go to its page on the government’s website and fill in your details. You’ll then get a confirmation email – once you’ve clicked through that your signature will be counted.
