The 24-year-old dad of two has been on "compassionate leave" since October — when The Sun revealed how he refused to guard the Israeli embassy in Kensington, West London.
PC Omar-Basha objected to being posted at the Israeli mission on moral grounds because of the bombing of Lebanon in the summer.
He said he was afraid of being spotted outside the Israeli embassy in case his family in Lebanon was targeted.
The officer was married by extremist Islamic cleric Mohamed Omar El-Bakri, who is a friend of his wife’s family.
Omar-Basha has been given an undisclosed posting elsewhere.
A Met spokesman said: "These decisions were taken following careful consideration of the officer’s circumstances."
