RoP Shuts Down Filming in London

The makers of a film about a Bangladeshi woman have canceled plans to film in the London area where the story takes place—out of fear of the local representatives of the Religion of Peace™: Brick Lane makers cancel filming.
The makers of the film Brick Lane have cancelled filming in the London area where it is set owing to opposition from the Bangladeshi community there.
Ruby Films said it had been advised by police and Tower Hamlets council not to film in Brick Lane area, Shoreditch. Ruby Films is now seeking alternative locations for exterior scenes it had been due to film in the Brick Lane area this weekend. A spokeswoman said: "We have been advised by the police and Tower Hamlets council that it is probably best not to film there. We wouldn’t want to go anywhere where we are not wanted, or put anyone at risk."
Community leader Mahmoud Roug makes the threat explicit:
Some members of the Bangladeshi community claim that the original novel, by Monica Ali, is "insulting". The book is about a Bangladeshi woman sent to London for an arranged marriage.
Brick Lane Business Association chairman Mahmoud Roug told BBC News it was a "victory for the community".
Mr Roug said: "If they have moved from here and will not be filming here, it is a victory for the community."
The original novel said "a lot of wrong and bad things about the community", he said.
"As the book was saying things against the people of the Brick Lane area, they shouldn’t come to do their filming around Brick Lane. The people [of Brick Lane] have been humiliated, and they [the film-makers] should not come near to them."

Hamza: I'll give right hook

HOOKED-HANDED Abu Hamza has been fined half his jail privileges — for threatening to punch a warder with his STUMPS.
The hate-monger Muslim cleric, who also faces a disciplinary hearing, raged after his BEARD was searched in a routine security check.
It happened before he met lawyers at top security Belmarsh nick in South London.
An insider said: "He was spitting with anger when his beard was checked and said it was an insult to his religion.
"He flew at the warder and threatened to punch him. He has tremendous strength in his stumps and the threat was taken very seriously."
serving seven years for whipping up race hate — was placed on report for violent conduct.
Privileges granted for good behaviour as an ‘enhanced prisoner’ were withdrawn.
The insider said: "That’s real punishment. His visits will be cut and he’ll have half the usual £30 a week to spend in the canteen."
The governor will decide on further punishment, if any. Hamza — whose hands were blown off by a bomb — can only wear his hooks in his cell.
He will not use an expensive false hand made for him.
He is a figurehead for young Muslims at Belmarsh and may be sent to Parkhurst on the Isle of Wight where there are fewer followers.

ONE FORCED MARRIAGE A DAY IN LONDON

THE lives of young women might be ruined by the Government’s failure to make forced marriages illegal, a senior police officer has warned.
Commander Steve Allen of the Metropolitan Police said that a decision by ministers last month to drop proposed legislation had been greeted by some ethnic minorities as a signal that forced marriage was acceptable.

Forced marriage law ‘not needed’.

Fanatic's cash aid call

A BRITISH Muslim human rights fanatic has urged followers to back Hezbollah.
London-based Massoud Shadjareh called for "financial, logistical and informational support".
His outburst came as security officials assessed the threat of reprisal attacks against Israeli and British targets by Hezbollah members living in Britain.
Shadjareh, who runs the London-based Islamic Human Rights Commission, also demanded the occupation of Israel by Hezbollah.
The movement is outlawed by anti-terror laws in this country — and is listed as a terror group by the US State Department.
Shadjareh, who was pictured wrapped in the group’s flag at a recent rally in Trafalgar Square — said: "We are not supporting or opposing Hezbollah or anybody else.
"The wearing of the Hezbollah flag is neither uncommon nor controversial among activists."
Security experts fear the group could soon launch a fresh international terror campaign.

Muslims 'boycott' Glasgow airport

On the radical Islamic continuum, there are the hardcore jihadis fighting in Lebanon and Iraq and cutting off heads around the world, there are the public relations front groups that spread propaganda and disinformation in Western countries, and handling the rear guard action, there are the non-stop whiners and seethers: Muslims ‘boycott’ Glasgow airport.
Muslim business travellers are boycotting Glasgow airport, according to a leading Scottish figure.
Bashir Mann, from the Muslim Council of Great Britan, complained of heavy-handed and humiliating searches by anti-terrorist police officers.
Dozens of executives have said they are no longer prepared to fly from Scotland and are using Manchester instead.
Strathclyde Police said it was looking at training to raise awareness of cultural and religious sensitivities.
Mr Mann said: "I'd never experienced anything like that before in Scotland.
"This was a show of sheer discrimination, victimisation of certain sections of the community in Scotland."
Ahmed Tassi, a Lebanese nurse working in Glasgow, said his wife was frequently targeted.
"She is a Canadian. She is more of an English speaker than me but she happens to be Muslim and covers her hair.
"90% of occasions when we pass through they say 'step aside' and she gets the full search.
"I am always waiting half an hour or an hour for her come."
A Strathclyde Police spokesperson said: "We have had a meeting with representatives from the Muslim community.
"Their concerns have been acknowledged and we have pledged to work with the community to address these issues.
"We are looking at further training of our officers, particularly at airports to raise awareness of cultural and religious sensitivities."

Nope, ..I really don't see a pattern here to justify profiling, do you? So, to ensure we westerners never offend anyone, particularly fanatics intent on killing us, airport security screeners will no longer be allowed to profile certain people. They must conduct random searches of 80-year-old women, little kids, airline pilots with proper identification, secret agents who are members of the President's security detail, 85-year old Congressmen with metal hips, and Medal of Honor winning and former Governor Joe Foss, but leave Muslim Males between the ages 17 and 40 alone lest they be guilty of profiling. Let's send this to as many people as we can so that the Gloria Aldreds and other dunder-headed attorneys along with Federal Justices that want to thwart common sense, feel doubly ashamed of themselves -- if they have any such sense. As the writer of the award winning story "Forrest Gump" so aptly put it, "Stupid is as stupid does." Come on people wake up!!! Keep this going. Pass it on to everyone in your address book. Our Country and our troops need our support. And guess who just bombed London? A couple of times? Pass this around to as many as you can, thisis great!

HAMZA HOOKED

Photobucket - Video and Image Hosting
EVIL preacher Abu Hamza is to be moved to an isolated jail because prison chiefs fear he is forming a new terror group behind bars.
The hook-handed cleric Hamza - serving seven years for whipping up race hate - has become a figurehead for impressionable young Muslims at South London's HMP Belmarsh.
So he is to be switched to Parkhurst on the Isle of Wight - at least 30 minutes' sea journey from the mainland and with fewer Muslim inmates.
Bosses at Belmarsh believe Hamza, 47, has been stirring up more racial hatred in secret "brain washing" meetings and prayer sessions.
And he is thought to be using The Muslim Boys, a hardcore gang of Islamic converts inside the jail with links to Al-Qaida, as henchmen. Dad-of-seven Hamza, who once branded Britain as "a toilet" but was happy to claim £12,000-a-year in benefits, is said to be furious at plans to move him next month and may mount a legal fight.
A Belmarsh source said: "Many of the Muslim inmates, particularly the younger lads, hang on his every word.
"Hamza is very good at brainwashing these young impressionable men. It is unlikely to be the same at Parkhurst."
A Home office spokesman said: "We do not comment on the movement of prisoners."

bakri wants out of lebanon.

Omar Bakri, the former leader of the now-disbanded Al Muhajiroun, currently living in Lebanon after being expelled from Britain, doesn’t seem to find the jihad to his liking now that Israel is fighting back, and he wants the Royal Navy to escort him to safety: Rat tries to join our ship.
The sheer gall of this loathsome creature is beyond imagining, begging for help from the country he hates and wants to destroy: Barred Islamist preacher refused evacuation from Lebanon.
An Islamist preacher barred from Britain for his radical views has said that he had tried to join the British evacuation from Lebanon but had been turned away.
Omar Bakri Mohammed, speaking from Beirut, said he had been prevented from boarding a naval warship evacuating Britons from the chaos because he did not have a British passport.
Bakri, who lived in London until his exile last August, said he had asked British authorities to rescue him from the violence in Lebanon for the sake of his family, who are still living in Britain. or to be helped to travel to Cyprus where he can meet his family.
“I know controversy surrounds all the news about me, I am myself accepting my destiny. But I have the right like anybody else to look for safety,” Bakri told Sky News television after being turned away from the ship on Thursday.
The preacher claimed he had written to the British embassy, asking to be allowed back on humanitarian grounds. “I applied for them to give me a visitor’s visa, not to appeal against the decision to withdraw my indefinite leave to stay in the UK,” he told BBC radio by mobile telephone from the Lebanese capital.

Go Bak to your hole

SPINELESS hate preacher Omar Bakri fled to the hills yesterday after Britain rejected his pathetic plea to escape the war.
The Muslim cleric, who ran away from Britain last year, had tried to board a ship full of women and children but was turned away.
He scurried to the mountain town of Aley, above Beirut, yesterday after Israeli missiles fell two miles from his his luxury flat.
The repulsive fanatic — who hailed suicide bombers as "magnificent martyrs" and in an interview with BBC Radio 4's Today programme after the Tel Aviv suicide bombings in 2003 he appeared to endorse terrorist attacks by British Muslims, saying al-Muhajiroun would "encourage people to fulfil their Islamic duties and responsibilities". But he added that the group was a political movement and did not take responsibility for the actions of any individuals.but called for an Israeli-Hezbollah ceasefire yesterday — clearly had no intention of laying down his life.
From the safety of the town’s swish Highland Hotel, Bakri, 46, launched into his familiar rant against Britain and Tony Blair.
He later nodded at morning prayers at the local mosque as the imam urged all Muslims to fight to the death for Hezbollah. I confronted the former dole scrounger as he left and asked why he was not willing to be a Hezbollah martyr.
He replied nonsensically: "You will not force your views on me."
Then he ranted: "What has this fight got to do with me? I am Lebanese. If you are British your Government treats you like a human being but if you are not British you are treated like an animal."
Bakri, a father of six and grandfather of four, left his family in Britain living on dole handouts.
His bid at Beirut port on Thursday morning to get on any British vessel ferrying evacuees to Cyprus was blocked by officials.
Predictably, Bakri blasted Britain for not letting him in, even though he has only a Lebanese passport. He said: "The embassy told me we are not dealing with visit applications, only British citizens who want to get out on a ship.
"I said, ‘What about my children in the UK who are concerned about their father? I don’t care what you think about me’. But they wouldn’t listen because I’m not a British citizen any more.
"I left Britain of my own free will and have never been charged with any offence. This has happened because I support the Palestinians, Iraq and Lebanon. All Muslims should unite and call for a ceasefire — but Tony Blair doesn’t want that. He wants bombing."
Click for Griffin's view
Bakri left his family last August and went to Lebanon after a Sun campaign to kick him out. Charles Clarke, then Home Secretary, revoked his indefinite leave to remain in the UK.
In March he boasted: "When I left England I bought a one-way ticket out. I never want to see it again."
But he changed his tune as soon as the Hezbollah guerillas he supports sparked the Israeli attacks.
In 22 years in the UK, Bakri sponged £300,000 in benefits. He preached violence and called the 9/11 terrorists the Magnificent 19. His preachings are thought to have encouraged British suicide bombers Omar Sharif and Asif Hanif.

Hook let out for NHS op

EVIL Abu Hamza is to be let out of a top security jail for a £10,000 operation on the NHS,
The hook-handed preacher is understood to be jumping the health service waiting list on the grounds that he is an "emergency" case.
Hamza — serving seven years for incitement to murder — will have micro-surgery on his stumps after complaining of severe pain.
He will spend at least four days at a London hospital.
Bosses at Belmarsh jail in South East London feared the Muslim cleric would sue unless he was allowed the op.
Father-of-seven Hamza will be manacled to two prison officers and guarded round the clock.
Armed police are also expected to be posted at the hospital during his stay next month.
A Belmarsh insider said last night: "Hamza complains all the time about his health, especially about pains in the stumps of his arms. It has now been established he needs complicated micro-surgery on the nerve endings. Whatever prisoners have done, we have to give them the same kind of medical treatment they would get if they were law-abiding citizens.
"There is no doubt Hamza is jumping the queue for treatment."
A Prison Service spokeswoman said: "We do not comment on individual prisoners."

MCB's Inayat Bunglawala Defends Islamic Supremacism

At radical Islamic propaganda site IslamOnline, Muslim Council of Britain spokesman Inayat Bunglawala reacts to the banning of two British extremist groups—by defending their goal of imposing Islamic rule in Britain, and by sticking up for the virulent hate group Hizb-ut-Tahrir (which has not been banned): Banned Groups Unpopular, Move Ineffective: UK Activist.
“This will not be very effective, I have no doubt about that,” Bunglawala said. “Both groups will simply change their names or go underground.”
He believes that the reasons given by the Home Office to ban the two groups are not justified.
Photobucket - Video and Image Hosting
“Calling for establishing a state with Islamic values should not be a crime,” he said.
Bunglawala fears that the move would only fan up Islamophobia, saying that it reflects the behavior of an “authoritarian government not a democracy.”
But he stressed there should not be a cause for concern among other Muslim groups, saying authorities have not banned groups like Hizb ut-Tahrir.
“Though we disagree with its agenda, I wouldn’t be pleased if Hizb ut-Tahrir was banned, because this is not a violent group,” said the MCB spokesman.
UPDATE
Here’s a little background information on Inayat Bunglawala’s pals in the Hizb-ut-Tahrir: Hizb ut-Tahrir al-Islami (Islamic Party of Liberation). Hizb ut-Tahrir al-Islami (Islamic Party of Liberation) a radical Islamic political movement that seeks ‘implementation of pure Islamic doctrine’ and the creation of an Islamic caliphate in Central Asia. The group’s aim is to resume the Islamic way of life and to convey the Islamic da’wah to the world. The ultimate goal of this secretive sectarian group is to unite the entire ummah, or Islamic world community, into a single caliphate. The aim is to bring the Muslims back to living an Islamic way of life in ‘Dar al-Islam’ [the land where the rules of Islam are being implemented, as opposed to the non-Islamic world] and in an Islamic society such that all life’s affairs in society are administered according to the Shariah rules.
Its basic aim was struggle with infidels and the organization of a universal caliphate embracing all Islamic countries. This objective means bringing the Muslims back to living an Islamic way of life in Dar al-Islam and in an Islamic society such that all of life’s affairs in society are administered according to the Shari’ah rules, and the viewpoint in it is the halal and the haram under the shade of the Islamic State, which is the Khilafah State. That state is the one in which Muslims appoint a Khaleefah and give him the bay’ah to listen and obey on condition that he rules according to the Book of Allah (swt) and the Sunnah of the Messenger of Allah (saw) and on condition that he conveys Islam as a message to the world through da’wah and jihad.
The work of Hizb ut-Tahrir is to carry the Islamic da’wah in order to change the situation of the corrupt society so that it is transformed into an Islamic society. It aims to do this by firstly changing the society’s existing thoughts to Islamic thoughts so that such thoughts become the public opinion among the people, who are then driven to implement and act upon them. The political struggle is manifested in the struggle against the disbelieving imperialists, to deliver the Ummah from their domination and to liberate her from their influence by uprooting their intellectual, cultural, political, economic and military roots from all of the Muslim countries. The political struggle also appears in challenging the rulers, revealing their treasons and conspiracies against the Ummah, and by taking them to task and changing them if they denied the rights of the Ummah, or refrained from performing their duties towards her, or ignored any matter of her affairs, or violated the laws of Islam.
The group - also known as the Islamic Party of Liberation - believes it can achieve its utopian Islamic state in three steps. The first involves educating Muslims about its philosophies and goals. In the second step, the Muslims would then spread these views among others in their countries, especially members of government, the military and other power centers. In the third and final step, Hizb ut-Tahrir believes its faithful will cause secular governments to crumble because loyalties will then lie solely with Islam - not nationalities, politics or ethnic identifications. At that point the group says a supreme Islamic leader, a Caliph like those of past centuries would rule all Muslims with both political and religious authority.

'Help out Muslim inmates'

PRISON kitchens are being ordered to go to extraordinary lengths to prepare food properly for Muslim inmates.
Not enough is done to meet the needs of the 7,000 Muslim prisoners, claims a report by MPs.
The dossier says new fridges should be provided so halal meat can be stored separately.
Any risk of contamination with other food should be avoided.
Some Muslim inmates are refusing halal meat — which is taken from animals that have been slaughtered in a specific way — because they do not trust the prison cooks preparing.

AT LAST BLAIR SAYS IT RIGHT.

TONY Blair last night branded Iran and Syria as masterminds of Middle East terror.
He blamed this dangerous axis of evil for orchestrating unprovoked attacks on Israel.
Then, sensationally, he blasted sinister Iranian President Ahmadinejad for supplying identical missiles to attack British squaddies in Basra.
This stunning charge irrevocably links Britain and Israel as allies in the war on terror.
And it joins all the dots in the complex events which threaten to engulf the Middle East.
Mr Blair bluntly rejected charges that Israel has over-reacted to provocation.
"These were acts of terrorism designed to provoke the very response that followed," said Mr Blair.
The PM spoke with feeling as thousands of frightened UK citizens were evacuated from shattered Lebanon by RAF helicopter and navy warships.
The airlift comes amid mounting international condemnation of Iran and Syria.
Saudi Arabia and Egypt have condemned the Iran-Syria axis. Even Russian ally Vladimir Putin refuses to support them openly.
If Iran and Syria are to be reined in, these are the key players.
Tony Blair’s performance was a return to form by a Prime Minister at his best in a crisis.
It left Tory leader David Cameron with little to offer but a few questions and fewer answers.
And it revealed the yawning gap between this seasoned statesman and the callow opponent who wants his job.

Briton held on US terror charge

A British man has been arrested in London at the request of US authorities who allege he ran websites which helped raise money for terrorism.
Officers arrested Syed Talha Ahsan, 26, at his home in Tooting on a federal indictment from the district attorney of the state of Connecticut.
Authorities there said an internet server based in the state was used.
He was remanded into custody after appearing at Horseferry Magistrates Court on Wednesday afternoon. Photobucket - Video and Image Hosting
A police spokesman said he was being held in a central London station.
'Several years' investigation'
The indictment charged him with conspiracy to support terrorists and conspiracy to kill or injure people abroad.
"These charges are the result of several years of investigative work by ICE and FBI agents in New Haven, NCIS agents, and several additional law enforcement partners here in the United States and overseas," Connecticut district attorney Kevin O'Connor said.
Mr Ahsan is accused in the same case as Babar Ahmad, who was arrested in Connecticut in October 2004, over the publication of sites including Azzam.com, which are accused of supporting organisations such as al-Qaeda.
Mr Ahsan and Mr Ahmad are alleged to have operated internet sites in Connecticut, Nevada, the United Kingdom, Ireland and Malaysia encouraging people to donate money or equipment.
They have also been accused of helping terrorists find short-term residence in London and to help them gain entry to zones of conflict such as Afghanistan and Chechnya.
Mr Ahmad has been fighting extradition to the US for the past two years.

British Islamist Hatred

On a British Islamic web site, more examples of virulent Islamic supremacist hate speech: British Terrorists Call for Destruction of Israel and Jews Worldwide

Photobucket - Video and Image Hosting

As the conflict in the Middle East boils over, British-based terrorists are calling for the complete destruction of Israel and Jews worldwide using global terrorism. Recordings made of a July 14 cyber conversation on a radical Islamic group found on www.paltalk.com (Followers of Ahl Al Sunnah Wal Jamaah, found in the Religion and Theology Islam section of Paltalk) reveal that horrifying agenda.
For example. The transcript of a recent conversation on that Paltalk group by an individual who, while identifying himself on the group by a different name is the controversial Abu Izadeen, read, "We should expose this cancer Israel for being a thorn in the side of Muslims for 80 years or more. We can’t just sit back saying nothing (or) doing nothing ... Israel should not be there. No one should except ... the Muslims ... The Israelis should not have any space at all to live in Palestine because that’s why it’s called Palestine. The Israelis are sitting in Muslim lands in Palestine. Israel is not a government. It’s not a nation. It’s an occupying army occupying Muslim lands. It should be thrown out."
Another portion of the conversation read, "Other Jews not from Israel, yes, we hate them as well. Now other non-Jews, we hate them as well. Christians, Hindus, any faith that does not worship Allah we hate and are our enemies. Hate all disbelievers."
The speaker asked, rhetorically, what can be done. He answered, "From the time the (heathen) Briton, American and Israel enter Muslims lands, it’s the right of all Muslims now. It is global jihad! When the jihad has spread all over the world, occupation has spread to every country in the Muslim lands. Now it has become a war declared openly (and) the jihad affects every single Muslim. (We encourage every Muslim) to fight the jihad physically, financially and verbally – all three – so (those who are) far away from the fight or can’t reach it ... can still support ... the jihad ... We can incite the believers; we can promote the jihad and mujahideen. Let the (heathen) know they are not just fighting a few Muslims in Beirut, but 1.5 billion Muslims worldwide ... United we will condemn them in London, speak out asking Allah to destroy them; no two states. We are going to ask Allah to destroy them completely so that there is not one left; every single one is dead in Israel. Give victory to the Muslims and destroy all of our enemies."

Islamic militant groups banned under new terror laws

Islamist militant groups Al-Ghurabaa and the Saved Sect were today named by the Home Secretary as the first to be banned under new legislation outlawing the glorification of terrorism.
John Reid laid an order in Parliament which will make it a criminal offence for a person to belong to or encourage support for the two groups, to arrange meetings in their support, or to wear clothes or carry articles in public indicating support or membership.
The two UK-based groups are both believed to be offshoots of Al-Muhajiroun, the militant organisation founded by Omar Bakri Mohammed, the controversial cleric who fled to Lebanon last year. They were involved in protests earlier this year against the publication of cartoons of Mohammed in a Danish newspaper.
Photobucket - Video and Image Hosting
Also proscribed by today’s order were foreign extremist groups the Baluchistan Liberation Army and Teyrebaz Azadiye Kurdistan.
A further draft order, also laid today, will add two alternative names for the Kurdish terrorist group PKK, which is already proscribed.
Mr Reid said: "Proscribing these groups - which are either engaged in terrorism or which glorify terrorist acts - sends a strong signal that the United Kingdom is not prepared to tolerate those who support terrorism here or anywhere in the world.
"I am determined to act against those who, while not directly involved in committing acts of terrorism, provide support for and make statements that glorify, celebrate and exalt the atrocities of terrorist groups.
"I am also committed to ensuring that those organisations that change their name do not avoid the consequences of proscription.
"Protecting the public and strengthening national security is my top priority. Proscription powers are an important tool in our armoury in the fight against terrorism.
"The new, widened, criteria introduced in the Terrorism Act 2006 allows us to create an even more hostile environment in which terrorists find it more difficult to operate, and will assist us in tackling every part of the terrorist network."
Al-Ghurabaa and the Saved Sect first came to wide public notice when they were named as the organisers of protest marches outside the Danish Embassy on February 3 and 4.
Protesters brandished placards with slogans including "Butcher those who mock Islam", "Massacre those who insult Islam" and "Behead the one who insults the prophet".
Six people were later arrested and charged with offences including soliciting to murder, inciting racial hatred, disorderly behaviour and organising a procession without notifying police.
The marches came a week and a half ahead of the key House of Commons vote on new anti-terror legislation, at which Tony Blair secured the new offence of glorification of terrorism despite a rebellion by Labour backbenchers. Mr Blair said then: "The new law will mean that if people are going to start celebrating acts of terrorism or condoning people who engage in terrorism, they will be prosecuted."
In a memorandum issued alongside today’s order, the Home Office stated that Omar Bakri Mohammed had founded Al-Muhajiroun in 1996 with the aim of creating a world-wide Islamic state and encouraging Muslims to support mujahideen who undertake violent jihad. The organisation was dissolved in 2004 and Omar Bakri later travelled to Lebanon and was barred from re-entering the UK.
The Home Office said that the Al-Ghurabaa Internet website, which was used as "a means of mobilising support as well as disseminating its ideas", shared an address and telephone number with that of Al-Muhajiroun. The memo said that the group "courts publicity and makes deliberately provocative and controversial statements expressing extremist views" which fall foul of the anti-glorification legislation.
The Saved Sect website also distributes "extremist material" covered by the glorification offence, said the Home Office, adding: "It is believed that Saved Sect and Al-Ghurabaa websites are working in tandem to disseminate an Islamist message under the umbrella of Ahl Us-Sunnah Wal-Jammaa’ah, described as a sect within Islam".
Shami Chakrabarti of human rights group Liberty opposes the banning of these groups. She added:
Criminalising free expression surely will make the job of police and intelligence services that much tougher, not to mention the the spike in membership that these groups will receive once they’ve been banned

BBC gets a Muslim to ask: were Jesus's miracles for real?

The BBC is placing Christianity at the heart of primetime entertainment for the first time, with programmes examining faith and spirituality set to replace copycat "lifestyle" shows.
However, the first fruits of the born-again fervour could prove controversial. Rageh Omaar, the former Iraq war correspondent who wrote a book on his experiences as a British Muslim, will conduct a three-part examination of Jesus’s miracles.
Omaar travelled to the Sea of Galilee, looking at the historical and archaeological evidence for events such as the Feeding of the 5,000, Jesus walking on water and the Resurrection itself.
The series asks if the banquet of loaves and fishes was an act of mass delusion and if the crucified body of Jesus was thrown to dogs in a rubbish dump.

The Islamist Hate Continues Despite Terrorism Act, 2006

On April 16, the UK had new terror legislation on its statute books, the Terrorism Act, 2006. Schedule 1, section 1 (3) of the act prohibits any statement which:
"(a) glorifies the commission or preparation (whether in the past, in the future or generally) of such acts or offences; and (b) is a statement from which those members of the public could reasonably be expected to infer that what is being glorified is being glorified as conduct that should be emulated by them in existing circumstances."
A summary conviction can carry a sentence of up to 12 months' imprisonment, but if convicted following an indictment, a sentence of up to 7 years' imprisonment can be imposed.
Predictably, the Muslim Council for Britain urged the government to exercise "restraint" with these laws. Its ecretary general then was Iqbal Sacranie, who said: "The fact that these laws are based upon a number of false premises and an unacceptably vague definition of terrorism makes them a recipe for disaster as well as a huge blow to our freedoms."
Tony Blair had made plain that he intended to use this act to prohibit groups which condoned terrorism, particularly Hizb ut-Tahrir and the "successors to Al-Muhajiroun", specifically mentioned in a clause discussed in November last year, but now conspicuously absent from the final document.
These successors to Al-Muhajiroun included most notably the Saviour Sect and Al-Ghurabaa. In an effort to avoid being legislated against, the Saviour Sect renamed itself the "Saved Sect". And the former deputy of Al-Muhajiroun, Anjem Choudary, with the assistance of others from the "Saved" Sect and Al Ghurabaa, launched a new Islamist group in November last year.
The launch was held in a north London charity shop, where one Simon Sulayman Keeler said: "The Queen is enemy to Islam and Muslims. We are not interested in what she says, her public relations with Muslims and her subjects. We see in reality her actions all around the earth, her forces, army, navy, her air force bombing, destroying Muslims, killing our families, destroying our properties and occupying our land."
The new group was called Ahl ul-Sunnah Wa al-Jamma or Ahlus Sunnah wal Jamaah (ASWJ). Abu Izzadeen, aka 31-year old electrician Omar Brooks, head of the Saved Sect, was also at the launch of the group, as was Abu Yahya, aka 31-year old Abdul Rahman Saleem. Yahya is currently on trial for using words likely to stir up racial hatred, at the anti-cartoon rally which took place on February 3. Choudary himself was given a nominal fine for organising the illegal demonstration, where members of these former al-Muhajiroun groups carried placards demanding the beheading of those who insulted Islam.
Even though the Terrorism Act has been on the statute books for three months, no-one has so far been prosecuted for "glorifying terrorism" under Schedule 1, section 1 (3). Though the act allows the Home Secretary to prohibit groups, no group has so far been outlawed.
According to the Times today, there will be a new list of "proscribed groups" published by the government next week. We can only hope that Al Ghurabaa, Ahlus Sunnah wal Jamaah, the Saviour/Saved Sect and also Hizb ut-Tahrir will be on the list of banned groups. Considering the inordinate influence the Muslim Council for Britain wields with the current government, nothing is certain.
The Times states that the group Ahlus Sunnah wal Jamaah (ASWJ) is still active, and has a website. On this website, a former leading figure from Al-Muhajiroun, Abu Muwahhid has been appearing in video sermons.

The website is a forum, and one must be registered to view these sermons. But they are virulent. In one sermon, thought to have been made in 2004, before Al-Muhajiroun became disbanded, he praised Hurricane Charley for making Americans homeless: "May Allah send them more hurricanes and tornadoes, and more aeroplanes as well.....We should never feel sorry for a kaffir, whether or not they die on September 11." In the same speech, he said: "Oh Allah, don't leave a single kaffir on the earth - destroy them all."
One speech is called Attributes of the Hypocrites. Here Muwahhid states: "People say....you gonna put the black flag on 10 Downing Street? You'll never do it until pigs fly. The pigs are flying. In America, they're flying, these pigs, in aeroplanes."
Two weekends ago, Abu Izzadeen preached at Small Heath community center in Birmingham, which can be found HERE. In this speech, he made fun of non-Muslims as "animals" and "cowards". He said that the 9/11 attacks upon the World Trade Centre "changed many people's lives." He then added: "especially for those inside," a quip that brought laughter from his audience.
Abu Muwahhid was also present at that sermon, which was given a few days before the anniversary of the 7/7 attacks in London, which killed 52 people on 7 July, 2005. Muwahhid, who is based in London, spoke at the Small Heath venue, saying: "Allah says kill the mushrikeen (sinners and polytheists) where you find them and capture them and besiege them and prepare an ambush from every angle."
On March 3, 2004, Muwahhid gave a lecture in London on the restoring of the Khilaafah, in conjunction with Sheikh Omar Bakri Mohammed. The "khilaafah" is the Caliphate, a system of universal Muslim rule, last held by the Ottomans, and crushed by Ataturk on March 3, 1924. As an illustration for this speech, Al-Muhajiroun showed the White House bombed (pictured). A mirror page of this site can be found courtesy of Daniel Pipes. Two days later, Muwahhid shared a podium with Abu Izzadeen/Omar Brooks, giving a lecture about "Tawheed the way for Khilaafah".
Abu Muwahhid has used the internet to disseminate his speeches for some time. In March 2004, he advertised an internet sermon on Paltalk at the now-disbanded site: http://www.almuk.com/obm/paltalk.html. The advertisement said: "This Saturday's LIVE talk on Paltalk will discuss one of the greatest forgotten obligations in Islaam - Hating false religions. Allaah (swt) orders the believers to hate all other religions, way of lives, creeds, doctrines and beliefs that contradict with Islaam, and one cannot be Muslim without to declare animosity and hatred towards kufr, bid'ah, shirk and nifaaq (Christianity, Judaism, Hinduism, Sikhism, Buddhism, Democracy, Freedom etc.)."
The shadow home secretary, David Davis has said of the recent posting of sermons by Muwahhid: "We have urged the government to use the powers available to them to deal with people like this. We will see whether they act or whether they prefer to wait several years like they did with Abu Hamza."

British taxpayers pay for jihadist cleric's trip to Turkey

Sheikh Qaradawi, of course. "Taxpayers fund radical Muslim cleric's Turkey trip," from the Daily Mail,
British taxpayers paid for a Muslim cleric who has defended suicide bombers to attend a conference on Islam in Turkey, it has emerged.
The Government paid for Yusuf al-Qaradawi and his wife to fly from their home in Qatar to Istanbul for the two-day event, and for their accommodation in a five-star hotel.
The 80-year-old cleric was the focus of furious protests in 2004 when he visited Britain as a guest of London mayor Ken Livingstone.
He is considered the spiritual leader of the Muslim Brotherhood, a militant group with offshoots around the world which acts as the ideological engine room of Islamist extremism.
Mr al-Qaradawi, who has also called for the execution of homosexuals and opposed equal rights for women, addressed the opening day of the £300,000 conference.
He has defended Palestinian suicide bombers who attack Israel as "a weapon which the weak resort to".
He was invited to speak by a steering group that included Sir Iqbal Sacranie, the former head of the Muslim Council of Britain.
The Foreign Office confirmed that it had covered Mr Qaradawi's expenses as part of its support for the conference, which took place earlier this month....
A spokesman for the FCO defended the decision to pay for Mr Qaradawi to attend the conference: "It is our view that you have got to engage in discussion with individuals with whom you don't necessarily agree."
one of his interviews earlier in the year.

Hardline jihadist cleric to speak in Britain

A RADICAL Muslim cleric who claims Britain DESERVES suicide bombings has been allowed in the country by ministers.
The Foreign Office gave twisted Delwar Hossain Sayeedi a visa saying he "does not meet the criteria for refusal".
And today he will join an East London rally with Respect MP George Galloway.
After the invasion of Afghanistan in 2001, Sayeedi said: "Britain and America deserve all that is coming to them."
He has also declared: "So what if the Taliban is destroyed? The war against America will continue."
He has stoked up violence on previous visits to Britain. Five Bengali elders were beaten up in Oldham, allegedly by his followers.
Yet the Foreign Office refused to keep him out. And Mockbul Ali, the Foreign Office’s Islamic issues adviser, says his radical views SHOULD be heard.
Last night Shadow Home Secretary David Davis said: "This totally undermines Tony Blair’s claims to be tough on those who incite terror and hatred."
Sayeedi’s speeches have also inflamed violence worldwide. One is thought to have led indirectly to a bomb attack against the British High Commissioner in Bangladesh.
Another could have led to the stabbing of moderate Bangladeshi author Humayun Azad in February 2004. He died six months later.
He has also made statements calling for war against Britain and the US. Leaked emails show other Foreign Office advisers warning against him coming.
One, Eric Taylor, wrote: "Sayeedi has made a particularly offensive comment about Bangladeshi Hindus, comparing them to excrement. Previous visits to the UK have been reportedly marred by violence caused by his supporters."
But Ali — whose salary is met by UK taxpayers — warned refusing his visa could backfire.
He wrote: "He is someone who has a very big following in the mainstream British Bangladeshi Muslim community and is viewed as a mainstream Muslim.
"Any steps taken on his exclusion from the UK must take that into account."
Sayeedi is set to take part in the launch of a social housing project for Bangladesh in East London. He is also expected to visit the huge East London Mosque during his stay

March of the Moderates

Scott Burgess has a great post on the British Foreign Office’s nearly unbelievable coddling of Muslim Brotherhood and Jamaat-e-Islami figures openly dedicated to the destruction of Britain and the establishment of Islamic totalitarian rule: The Daily Ablution: March of the Moderates Continues.

Two given life for honour killing

A man has been jailed for life for murdering his sister after she fell in love with an asylum seeker.
Greengrocer Azhar Nazir, 30, and his cousin Imran Mohammed, 17, stabbed Samaira Nazir 18 times at the family home in Southall in April 2005.
The 25-year-old recruitment consultant was killed after she asked to marry an Afghan man - instead of marrying someone in the Pakistani family circle
.
An Old Bailey judge detained Mohammed, also convicted of murder, for life.
The teenager was told he must serve a minimum of 10 years in youth detention, while Nazir will be jailed for at least 20 years.
The court had earlier heard Samaira fell in love with Salman Mohammed, who befriended the family after arriving in the UK in 2000.

She lost her life for loving the wrong man Sally Howes, prosecuting
They began a secret relationship but when Miss Nazir asked for permission to marry him, her family reacted angrily.
Mr Mohammed had been warned by Nazir: "We can get you anywhere if you get married, even if you are not in this country."
The couple had last seen each other about an hour before Miss Nazir was killed.
She had tried to talk to her mother about the problem at a relative's house, but her mother refused. The pair returned to the family home.
The attack that followed, described by Judge Christopher Moss as barbaric, was witnessed by two young nieces.
Miss Nazir tried to flee but her brother dragged her back into the house where the assault continued.
A neighbour heard screams and knocked on the door. Nazir told her his sister was suffering a fit, but as she returned to her home she heard Miss Nazir shout "You are not my mother any more".
Prosecutors said the family thought Mr Mohammed was only after their money.
'Family disapproved'
Miss Nazir's father was arrested and bailed during the investigation but fled to Pakistan.
Sally Howes, prosecuting, said: "Following a heated argument about her relationship with Salman, she was attacked and killed.
"She lost her life for loving the wrong man."
Judge Moss lifted a ban on identifying Mohammed, a distant cousin of Samaira, who was said to have treated him like another brother.
Sentencing Nazir, he said: "You were her judge and jury, although you may not have been alone.
"You claimed to have loved your sister but were guilty of orchestrating her murder."
Nazir Afzal, area director of the Crown Prosecution Service, said: "Samaira was murdered because she loved the wrong person, in her family's eyes.
"In that sense, it was an honour killing to protect the perceived status of the family, to mark their disapproval."

Bakri: "I advise my students not to mix with British society"

Longtime readers of Jihad Watch will recall that the former leader of Al-Muhajiroun, a jihadist group in Britain, is prone to making inflammatory statements. He is now in Lebanon, and he hasn't changed.
It would be interesting to see the moderate Muslim leaders who profess loyalty to the British crown respond to this on Islamic grounds. But they almost certainly won't.
"Interview with the Controversial Omar Bakri: Extremist Bakri: 'I advise my students not to mix with British society,'" from
Asharq Alawsat,

Q) Do you still adhere to your previous fatwas, in particular concerning the condemnation of Muslims informing authorities of terrorist activity?
A) Providing the British or US police or any other security services of nonbelievers with information on Muslims, whether they are mujahideen who fight for the sake of God or ordinary Muslims, is forbidden from the Islamic Shariah perspective. It is a major act of disbelief and he who commits this is considered a dissident of Islam, because it falls within the framework of supporting disbelievers over Muslims.

Q) Do you think about going back to the United Kingdom?
A) No. I do not think about that unless Britain renounces its terror laws through which it is terrorizing Muslims under the pretext of fighting terrorism. It is religiously prohibited for people like me to return to the United Kingdom, because this would fall within the framework of offering oneself as captive. Islam prohibits Muslims from allowing themselves to become captives of nonbelievers.

Q) What is your advice to the British Muslim youth and to your students who are far away from you?
A) I advise the British Muslim youth in general and my dear students in particular not to mix with the ignorant British society and not to isolate themselves from people. They must actively preach the word of God; promote virtue and prevent vice; publicly reveal God's orders; stay away from nonbelievers and their customs, practices, and laws; and adhere to the teachings of the Quran and of Prophet Mohammed by understanding the goodness of our ancestors.

Q) Does the notion of "Londonstan" still exist?
A) I believe that one day honest Muslims in the United Kingdom will, God willing, turn it into "Islamistan," like what the first Muslims did in Eritrea and Indonesia. The great dream of Islam will come true. Muslims dream to see flags that read: "There is no god but Allah" fluttering in the wind on top of Big Ben and the House of Commons, God willing.

British Islamist Mocks Terror Victims

Allahpundit has excerpts from the video of "Abu Izzadeen" (aka Omar Brooks) of the British Islamic supremacist group Al Ghurabaa, mocking the victims of 9/11 and 7/7 in front of a laughing audience: British Islamist parasite defends London bombings.

London Bombing Leader Linked to Tel Aviv Suicide Attack

The leader of the 7/7 Islamic terror attacks in London has been linked to the two British suicide bombers who committed mass murder in 2003 at the Israeli nightclub Mike’s Place: July 7 ringleader linked to Tel Aviv suicide bombers.
MOHAMMAD Sidique Khan, leader of the July 7 bombings, collaborated with two other British suicide bombers to recruit young Muslims for training camps in Afghanistan four years before he carried out his terror attacks in London.
Fresh evidence has been uncovered linking Khan to Omar Sharif and Hanif Asif, who killed three people and injured 50 in 2003 with a suicide attack on a bar in Tel Aviv.
According to a witness who has not yet spoken to the police, the men wanted to indoctrinate young Muslims and take them abroad for further training.
Kursheed Fiaz, a businessman who runs an information technology company in Manchester, had four or five meetings with Khan who was initially accompanied by Sharif and later by Asif.
The close link between the two groups of suicide bombers suggests Britain’s Islamic terror network may be more tightly knit than previously thought.
Than previously thought ... by ostriches, maybe.
Please note that the British Muslims who attacked Mike’s Place also hung out with the International Solidarity Movement.

Portillo: We Must Call It Islamic Terror

In the Sunday Times, Michael Portillo has an excellent clear-sighted piece about Britain’s big problem: No offence, imam, but we must call it Islamic terror.
There are those who in the interests of community relations denounce linking the word Islamic to "violence" or "extremism". They object that we did not call the IRA "Catholic terrorists", nor do we speak of "Christian extremism" or link Christian fundamentalism to violence.
There are good reasons for that. Although the IRA is rooted in the Catholic community, its aims are political and secular. Although there certainly are Christian extremists today, just now they are not murdering people in the name of purifying the world. By contrast, across the globe human beings are being slaughtered in large numbers by Muslims quoting from the Koran and vowing death to infidels, including other Muslim sects. Their objectives are political and religious.
So to try to condemn the expression "Islamic violence" is a dangerous attempt at censorship that would hamper our understanding of the threat we face. The term is certainly offensive to Muslims, but the offence is caused by the bombers, not by those who describe the process.
Last week Tony Blair caused a furore by calling on Muslims to do more to control, denounce or deliver up the men who preach and practise violence. Some Muslim spokesmen said that was a divisive remark that stigmatised Muslims instead of recognising that the problem was one for British society as a whole.
The prime minister’s exhortation was valid. The bombers are not casualties of British society. Shehzad Tanweer, the Aldgate murderer, was only 22 yet left £121,000 after tax. The bombers’ grievances cannot be bought off with more money for schools or a new youth centre. They were corrupted, I assume, by theoreticians of annihilation from within their community. Their training was probably perfected in an Al-Qaeda camp in Pakistan.
Abdur-Raheem Green is an imam who believes that he preached to some of the 7/7 murderers and hopes that nothing he said encouraged them. When asked last week whether he would turn over to the authorities young men who were moving towards terrorism, his answer was ambiguous. He argued that it would be better for him to dissuade them rather than denounce them because that would risk creating further alienation. That is not the response that Blair, speaking for most Britons, is seeking.

'At least 1,200 homegrown Islamic fanatics under surveillance in UK'

At least 1,200 homegrown Islamic fanatics are under surveillance by the security services, it has emerged.
They are drawn from 400,000 'sympathisers' with extremist causes currently living in the UK.

In addition, several zealots have already tried to infiltrate the domestic security service, MI5.
The extraordinary scale of the UK terrorist threat was revealed yesterday - just days before the first anniversary of the July 7 attacks on London.
MI5 sources told the BBC that the agency has doubled its staff to 3,500, set up eight regional offices and weeded out several potential infiltrators since last year.
Those would-be 'sleepers' were discovered during the stringent background checks of the 100,000 job applicants the agency processes every year.
The stark warning from MI5 came as the country's leading anti-terror police officer disclosed that youthful British-born Islamic terrorists have replaced foreign radicals as the main source of dangerous discontent.

Terror warnings to be made public

A new warning system is to alert the public to the threat of attacks by al-Qaeda and other terror groups.
From 1 August, details of current threat levels will be published on the websites of the Home Office and MI5, Home Secretary John Reid announced.
The warning system will form part of the government's counter-terrorist strategy, code-named Contest.
Shadow home secretary David Davis welcomed the move, saying it was "eminently sensible".
Announcing the plans, the Mr Reid told MPs that the terrorist threat would only be overcome by "united action by all of us".
He said: "The importance of the public remaining vigilant at all times and reporting any suspicious activities is still the key message."
The system will show five different threat levels - low, moderate, substantial, severe and critical.
It is intended to simplify the current seven-tier system, which is not published in the public domain.

NEW THREAT LEVELS
Low
Moderate
Substantial
Severe
Critical

The home secretary revealed that the UK has been on a "severe general" level since August last year, equating to "severe" on the new scale.
He defined severe as the threat of a terrorist attack being "highly likely".
Some had lobbied for a system similar to that of the US, where alerts are colour-coded and range from green to red.
But that system has been criticised for being unduly alarmist and confusing.

CURRENT THREAT LEVELS
Negligible
Low
Moderate
Substantial
Severe general
Severe defined
Critical

The government is publishing two documents on terrorism to coincide with Mr Reid's announcement.

A wide-ranging summary of the government's long-term strategy is being published by the Home Office. It aims to prevent terrorism and prepare for a potential attack.
The Department for Communities and Local Government will also publish a document on preventing extremism.
Mr Reid said he hoped the changes would "bring further transparency and understanding of the nature of the terrorist threat".
Giving the move his approval, Mr Davis said it would "increase both public confidence and public vigilance".
But he warned that it was "not just about strategies on a piece of paper" but was "first and foremost about delivery on the streets".
The Liberal Democrats' Nick Clegg said he too welcomed the move.

Mr Reid's announcement came after the cross-party Intelligence and Security Committee (ISC) called for a more transparent warning system in the UK in a report on the 7 July London bombings.
The committee highlighted that the threat level had been reduced from "severe general" to "substantial" prior to the London attacks.
Its report claimed the current system had provided "inappropriate reassurance" to the public in the absence of intelligence about a plot.
The report, published in May, said the system should be changed to recognise the limitations of intelligence gathering and "that attacks may be at the planning stage without being detected".

BBC bans the word "dhimmi"

Photobucket - Video and Image Hosting

BBC bans the word "dhimmi"

Dhimmitude is the status that Islamic law, the Sharia, mandates for non-Muslims, primarily Jews and Christians. Dhimmis, "protected people," are free to practice their religion in a Sharia regime, but are made subject to a number of humiliating regulations designed to enforce the Qur'an's command that they "feel themselves subdued" (Sura 9:29). This denial of equality of rights and dignity remains part of the Sharia, and, as such, is part of the law that global jihadists are laboring to impose everywhere, ultimately on the entire human race.
The dhimmi attitude of chastened subservience has entered into Western academic study of Islam, and from there into journalism, textbooks, and the popular discourse. One must not point out the depredations of jihad and dhimmitude; to do so would offend the multiculturalist ethos that prevails everywhere today.
But in this era of global terrorism this silence and distortion has become deadly. Therefore Dhimmi Watch seeks to bring public attention to the plight of the dhimmis, and by doing so, to bring them justice.

have a look at the comment a muslim left about this

BBC Lifts Ban on "Dhimmi"
The BBC explains why they banned the word “dhimmi” from their discussion forums: No offence. Recently in our Have Your Say discussions, “dhimmi” has been used in a context which breaches our house rules, specifically that posts should not be abusive, offensive or provocative. Some users have tried to register with names using variations of “dhimmi”, again sometimes in an offensive way. When we spotted this trend, we put the word “dhimmi” on our automated list of blocked words, mostly swearing and racially offensive terms. That meant that any reference to “dhimmi” would mean the posting was automatically deleted. (Having a blocked list means it’s possible to filter out abuse and ensure comments do not break any laws - especially useful since our debates get several thousand messages each day.)
On reflection, though, it’s clear that the word “dhimmi” can be used in the modern sense in a non-abusive way, so we’ve decided that it should not now be blocked. The list of blocked words is a moving object - words and meanings do change from time to time - so we’ll monitor how the debate goes.

Joking Muslim cleric mocks victims of London blasts.

A SPEECH by an extremist Muslim cleric praising the London bombers and mocking victims of suicide attacks has been broadcast on the internet to coincide with the anniversary of the July 7 attacks.
The audience laughs as Omar Brooks, a British Muslim convert who also uses the name Abu Izzadeen, makes fun of non-Muslims as “animals” and “cowards”.
Brooks — who has previously described the London bombers as “completely praiseworthy” — identifies with the views of Mohammad Sidique Khan, the ringleader of the London attacks. He contrasts the supposed bravery of Khan’s suicide to the “kuffar” (non-Muslims) who are characterised as debauched binge-drinkers who vomit and urinate in the street.
The speech is peppered with jokes that bring laughter from his audience at the Small Heath youth and community centre in Birmingham, where it was filmed last Sunday.
At one point he announces dramatically that the September 11 attacks on the World Trade Center “changed many people’s lives”. After a pause, he brings the house down by adding: “Especially those inside.”

Zawahri: London Bombers Al Qaeda-Trained

In a sudden flurry of jihad videos aimed at the West, we’ve seen London bomber Shehzad Tanweer and American turncoat Adam Gadahn ... and the hits keep on comin’! Here’s Ayman al-Zawahri saying the 7/7 mass murderers were trained by Al Qaeda.
CAIRO, Egypt - Two of the four suicide bombers who attacked London last July 7 spent time at an al-Qaida camp to prepare themselves for a suicide mission, the deputy leader of the terror network claimed in a video Friday.
British authorities previously said they knew Shehzad Tanweer and Mohammad Sidique Khan had visited Pakistan, but the comment from al-Qaida No. 2 man Ayman al-Zawahri was the first to claim that they had been at an al-Qaida base.
"Both of them were seeking martyrdom and wished that they could carry out a martyrdom operation," al-Zawahri said, using the Islamic euphemism for a suicide attack.

Anyone want to bet that the line about "Islamic euphemism for a suicide attack" will be removed from subsequent versions of the story? It’s very insensitive, bordering on Islamophobic.

UK jihadist vows to ignore 7/7 silence

What does Britain gain by continuing to allow this traitor to live (and recruit) among them? "Muslim Fanatic Vows To Ignore 7/7 Silence," from LifeStyleExtra,
Defiant Muslim fanatic Anjem Choudary today vowed to ignore the two minutes silence for the 52 people killed in the July 7 bombings.
Choudary, the former spokesman for extremist group Al-Muhajiroun who now heads Al-Ghurabaa, who has previously refused to condemn the bombings, labelled tomorrow's commemoration a "duplicity".
He added that the release of the video today showing bomber Shehzad Tanweer promising more attacks proved that Al Qaeda were connected to the London outrage.
Choudary said about tomorrow's commemoration: "Not at all will I be observing two minute's silence.
"It's not allowed for the death of anyone in Islam. But, moreover, is anyone going to commemorate the deaths of Muslims?
"We are talking about thousands of Chechyans, Iraqis and Palestinians. There's a duplicity.
"The government should admit there are people dying everywhere because of British foreign policy."

We'd Hate to See Anything Happen to Your Nice Little Country

Here’s another disgusting article by the media secretary of the Muslim Council of Britain, Inayat Bunglawala, about the release of the 7/7 bomber video today by Al Jazeera:

Reality TV. (Hat tip: The Nordish Portal.)
The point of the article is another veiled threat; do what we want or suffer more terrorism. The technique bears an amazing resemblance to a Mafia extortion racket.
The release of today’s video statement from Shehzad Tanweer appears to confirm the widespread view that the four 7/7 bombers had indeed been radicalised by aspects of our country’s foreign policy and participation in the wars against Afghanistan and Iraq.
One hopes that this will serve to lift the sense of denial in parts of the government about the link between the 7/7 bombings and its policies overseas.
From reading the comments, though, it looks as if more Brits are beginning to stand up against this sly support for terrorism.
You loathsome little creep. You may not openly come out in support of terrorism, but you share all of their aims, don’t you? These terrorists are extremely useful for snake-oil salesmen like Bunglawala. They plant the bombs while he tut-tuts — before offering himself up as the voice of "moderation", with whom the government can deal. Problem is, he’s just as loopy as Tanweer and Mohammad Sidique Khan.
In a comment of his own, Bunglawala discusses how much fun he had watching LGF’s reaction to receiving a death threat from someone who works with him at Reuters Canary Wharf:
Inayat July 6, 2006 09:46 PM
London/gbr NickDavid: ‘Another worrying blog on Inayat. Inayat - please reassure your opponents that this isn’t true. Link...
Yes, that is not true either! Although, it was fun to see how some Islamophobes including the disgustingly racist/rabidly pro-Israel Little Green Footballs website worked themselves all into a lather about it. What was the outcome of their campaign? Strangely, the LGF has not updated its readers about hwat happened next. I wonder why.
There hasn’t been an update about the Reuters incident because it’s now in the hands of Scotland Yard. Perhaps Bunglawala is hinting around that he had something to do with this?

Were bombers linked to al-Qaeda?

The video of London bomber Shehzad Tanweer shown on al-Jazeera TV on the eve of the attack's first anniversary provides more evidence linking the bombers to al-Qaeda.
But questions still remain, and the answers to many of those questions lie in Pakistan.
In the wake of last July's bombings, it did not take long for Pakistan to become almost as much a focus of attention as the Yorkshire base of the bombers.
Were the men really home-grown terrorists or were they directed by al-Qaeda? What was the significance of their time in the country where much of the remaining al-Qaeda leadership is thought to operate?
Officials have been cautious in confirming that a direct link exists between the men and those around Osama Bin Laden.
"It is not easy to find out what happened... such information as we do have does suggest there is probably a link to al-Qaeda," Peter Clarke, head of anti-terrorism at the Metropolitan Police, told the BBC earlier in the week.
What evidence is there linking the bombers to al-Qaeda in Pakistan?
Suspicion
We know, from official reports, that two of the bombers - Shehzad Tanweer and Mohammad Sidique Khan travelled together to Pakistan between November 2004 and February 2005.
No one knows for sure what they did out there but the suspicion will be that this is when both men made their videotaped testimonies.
Khan also travelled to Pakistan on at least one earlier occasion and may have been to Afghanistan in the late 1990s or soon after.
British intelligence agencies believe some form of operational training is likely to have taken place while Khan and Tanweer were in Pakistan together and that it is likely they did have contact with al-Qaeda figures.
Pakistani intelligence sources have suggested the men may have met with al-Qaeda's number two, Ayman al-Zawahiri, in Pakistan's tribal areas sometime in January 2005. British officials say they have no evidence confirming the meeting but they don't discount the possibility that it took place.
Whoever the bombers met, straight after their return, Khan and Tanweer began putting in place the key elements of their plan. They both left their jobs, rented a place in which to build the bombs and began purchasing material.
And in the three months leading up to the bombing, the men were in contact with an individual or individuals in Pakistan who may have been giving them advice and direction.
It is not known who it was or the exact nature of the contacts but the methods used, designed to make it difficult to identify the individual, makes the contacts look suspicious.
Mastermind
When I met some of Pakistan's top counter-terrorist officials during a visit earlier in the year, they declined to speak on the record.

The notion that it was Pakistan rather than the UK that was responsible for the bombers' radicalisation raises particular ire
But they did say they had been given 299 telephone numbers in Pakistan linked directly or indirectly to the bombing - but had not found a mastermind.
They argued that al-Qaeda's leadership did not have the capability to plan or direct operations because it was under pressure.
But in recent months Western intelligence agencies have begun shifting away from the notion that al-Qaeda has largely become an ideology rather than a structured operation, to once again believing that there remains some capability for direct operational planning within al-Qaeda's leadership.
There are sensitivities in Pakistan over any links to 7 July. Pakistani officials strongly reject the notion that they are not co-operating fully in fighting terrorism and point to the deaths of soldiers fighting in the wild border region of Waziristan.
And the notion that it was Pakistan rather than the UK that was responsible for the bombers' radicalisation raises particular ire.
"If an individual commits an act who was bred and brought up and educated not in Pakistan but elsewhere and since he visited Pakistan for a few days or weeks (it) does not mean that it is Pakistan that is responsible in his conversion as (a) terrorist," Major General Shaukat Sultan, Pakistan's military spokesman explained.
Another problem is the growing complexity of al-Qaeda.
Tracking difficult
"There is very much an integration between the Pakistani jihadi community and al-Qaeda's leadership and I think this is the galaxy that spawned the 7 July bombings," explains Alexis Debat, a counter-terrorism expert.
"But it's very hard for investigators to find out where the Pakistani jihadi community stops and al-Qaeda starts. And it's much more difficult for the Pakistani government to go after the Pakistani jihadis."
The coincidence of al-Qaeda basing itself in Pakistan, increasingly overlapping itself with Pakistani jihadist groups and the high transit of people from Britain's Pakistani community back to the country makes investigating links and travel particularly difficult.
There were 400,000 visits by UK residents to Pakistan in 2004 - and the average length was 41 days.
There is considerable intelligence liaison between Pakistan and countries such as the US and UK. But it is always on Pakistan's terms.
According to Pakistani officials, when someone is picked up, Pakistani interrogators will talk to them first and begin by asking them about any threat within Pakistan.
If they later divulge any information about threats to another country, officials from that country are told and may be invited to become "actively involved" in the investigation.
This may involve watching an interrogation take place through video monitors.
If the Pakistani officials decide to allow direct interrogations to take place by a foreign intelligence service then this will be done jointly, with Pakistani officials present.
This might involve officers from the CIA or FBI in the US or MI6 or MI5 in the UK (MI5 is the domestic security service but tends to push to take the lead in foreign investigations where there is a possible threat to UK security).
A year on, the exact role of the bombers' travels to Pakistan in the run-up to the attack remains unclear but the evidence pointing to a major role for al-Qaeda is mounting.

Man on terror charges

A 36-year-old man was charged with terrorism offences today following a series of raids last month.
Omar Altimimi, from Bolton, Greater Manchester, is accused of four offences under Sections 57 and 58 of the Terrorism Act 2000 which covers possession of any materials or articles for the purposes of terrorism and the collection of information for terrorist purposes.
He was also charged with one offence under Section 329 of the Proceeds of Crime Act 2002.
Around 50 officers were involved in the raids, with 200 more working behind the scenes.
A second man, 29-year-old Yusuf Abdullah, of no fixed address, has been charged with one offence under Section 329 of the Proceeds of Crime Act and one offence under Section 24 of the Theft Act 1968.
Altimimi and Abdullah were arrested on June 27 after Greater Manchester Police (GMP) officers swooped, unarmed, on eight houses in Bolton.
The charges are not thought to have any connection with the terror attacks in London last year.
A police spokeswoman said: "Greater Manchester Police has today charged two men who were arrested in Bolton on June 27 as part of an operation led by GMP’s anti-terrorist unit."
Both will appear tomorrow (July 8) at London’s Bow Street Magistrates’ Court.

London police warn of more bombings

Britain marked the first anniversary of the London suicide bombings with flowers, candles and a 2-minute silence on Friday as the city's police chief said another attack now looked more likely.
One year after four young British Islamists blew themselves up on London's transport system, killing 52 people and wounding 700, Metropolitan Police Commissioner Ian Blair described the threat faced by Britain as "grim."
"There are, as we speak, people in the United Kingdom planning further atrocities," he told BBC Radio. "Since July, the threat has palpably increased."
Across the country, people fell silent at midday (1100 GMT) in memory of the dead. British Prime Minister Tony Blair observed the tribute alongside firefighters at their London headquarters on the banks of the river Thames.
"It is a chance for the whole nation to come together to offer comfort and support to those who lost loved ones or were injured on that terrible day," Blair said in a statement.
Tennis fans fell silent at the Wimbledon championships and Queen Elizabeth paused for reflection at a church service in the Scottish capital Edinburgh.
Earlier, remembrance candles were lit under the vast dome of London's St Paul's Cathedral at 8:50 a.m. and at 9:47 a.m. -- the times the bombs went off -- and wreaths of flowers were laid in Tavistock Square, where the last of the four bombers detonated his explosives on a double-decker bus.
"It's a very sobering moment," Obi Nwosu, an IT manager who was at that ceremony, told Reuters. "It makes you realize your day to day problems are not really that significant."
FEAR OF SECOND ATTACK
Londoners have been living with the fear of a second attack. The fact no one has been charged in connection with Western Europe's first suicide attacks has added to unease.
In what appeared to be a well-timed bid to fuel those fears, a video surfaced on Thursday apparently showing one of the London bombers, Shehzad Tanweer, reading his last testament.
The previously unseen video, broadcast on Qatar-based Al Jazeera television, also showed al Qaeda's deputy leader Ayman al-Zawahri, suggesting a link between Osama bin Laden's network and the bombers.
The British government says it knows little about the motivation of the London bombers, their possible training abroad or their alleged links to al Qaeda.
Some survivors want a full public inquiry into events which, like the September 11 attacks in the United States, have become etched into the British psyche as a simple date -- 7/7.
Many of Britain's 1.8 million Muslims feel their community has been unfairly targeted by the police since the attacks. Two botched anti-terrorist operations in which police shot two innocent men, killing one of them, have not helped.
Speaking at an Islamic center in East London, Kumrul Hassan, whose niece Shahara Islam was killed in the bus bombing, said he hoped Britons would "not see such terrible acts committed in our country ever again."
a fact that is known by all ordinary Muslims, and which is regularly preached in the sermons by our imams," he told reporters.

Fanatic's sick 7/7 rant

A MUSLIM fanatic caused outrage yesterday by admitting he wouldn’t tip off cops about another 7/7 suicide attack.
Anjem Choudary also claimed "oppressed" Muslims had a right to defend themselves using "whatever means".
Choudary, 38, right-hand man of exiled hate preacher Omar Bakri, repeatedly refused to condemn the 7/7 bombers at a press conference on the eve of the anniversary of the London blasts.
But when asked if he would inform the police of another suicide mission he said in Walthamstow, East London: "No I wouldn’t. I don’t think Muslims can co-operate with police."
Then Choudary warned Britain faced CIVIL WAR with its 1.6million-strong Muslim community.
He said: "We are reaching a situation where the Muslim community is increasingly under siege.
"I’m afraid of a Bosnia or Kosovo-style reality here in Great Britain."
Choudary’s rant came a day after he was fined for organising protests over cartoons about the prophet Mohammed.

I don't think he is all that afraid. That seems to be just what he wants.
