News that a sixth “British” Muslim has been killed fighting in Syria has underlined the fact that Islamist invasion of Britain is now so large that it has spawned its own set of Jihadists to take up that religion’s holy war in other parts of the world.
According to reports, the latest “British” man to be killed was Choukri Ellekhlifi, 22. Originally, from Morocco, Ellekhlifi is believed to have funded his trip to Syria by robbing British people in Belgravia with a stun gun.
Another “British” man, Mohammed el-Araj, 23, from Ladbroke Grove, West London, was killed two weeks after Ellekhlifi met his end, according to reports.
Other “British” men killed include Abu Naseebah al-Britani, who was killed fighting for the al-Qa’ida linked ISIS (the Islamic State of Iraq and al-Shams) in Deir Atiyah, north of Damascus.
His death follows a report that four other “British” men have died fighting for the al-Qa’ida linked al-Nusra Front in Syria over the summer. Three of the men, all thought to have been from London, were killed as they attacked forces loyal to President Bashar Assad near Aleppo.
A fourth man, fighting for the same group was shot two weeks later during an ambush on an enemy position. He has been named as Mohammed el-Araj, 23, from Ladbroke Grove, west London.
A fifth man, Ibrahim al-Mazwagi, 21, from North London is believed to have been killed in February.
MI5 estimates suggest that 200 and 300 “Britons” have travelled to Syria to fight against President Bashar al-Assad’s forces.
